Hi, this is Joje. I went to Siheung Premium Outlets and stopped by Pyeongi Dambaek Bone Kalguksu (kalguksu = knife-cut noodle soup) to have the bone tang-bap (bone soup rice) suyuk set! This must be my fourth visit already. Whenever I want hearty Korean food, I end up here. It's really good. Let me share the detailed review now.

What comes with the 19,000 won pork jowl suyuk set?

I ordered the tender gabrisal suyuk set for ₩19,000. About 10 minutes after ordering, the food came out.

A separate bowl came out for setting aside the bones.

I love pork spine, and I often make gomtang (bone soup) at home for the kids, so it was nice to be able to enjoy it out too.

Bone tang-bap broth topped with egg garnish

Finely sliced egg garnish was on top. It went really well with the broth, making it easy to eat~

There was gabrisal too, and the portion of bone was quite generous, so it felt filling even without eating rice~

The side dishes were exactly what you'd need, nothing more. Fresh kimchi and cucumber pepper salad!

The bone piece was large with a lot of meat still attached. I dipped the gabrisal in the garlic and sauce that came with it~

I picked the meat off the bone and dipped it in the separately provided sauce!!

And the cucumber kimchi, which I've loved before too — I love it! I wanted a refill but held back since the other portions were already so big ^^

After picking out all the bones, I got to enjoy the egg garnish and glass noodles like noodles themselves~

Even down to the broth, it was really hearty — a satisfying meal.

Is it worth a fourth visit? Final verdict

Pyeongi Dambaek Bone Kalguksu, located at the main entrance of Tasty Village on the 1st floor of Siheung Premium Outlets, is a satisfying spot I keep coming back to whenever I'm craving hearty Korean food. The clean, spacious dining room, the convenient kiosk ordering system, and amenities like outdoor tables and a water station make for a comfortable meal.

The 'bone tang-bap gabrisal suyuk set' I ordered this time came with generous portions of large bone and savory gabrisal, filling me up in a satisfying way even before I finished the rice. The meaty bone, packed with flesh, is fun to dip in the special sauce, and the tender gabrisal is enjoyable with garlic and ssamjang, while the clean broth with neat egg garnish and glass noodles adds deep flavor.

On top of that, savory side dishes like fresh kimchi and cucumber pepper salad — exactly what's needed, nothing more — rounded everything out. It was such a satisfying meal that this was already my fourth visit!
