Kid-friendly salt bread café after Yeongjong Sky Sports Park: 5PM

5PM sunset hour is a dessert café known for its salt bread, on the 1st floor of the KCC Switzen shopping building in Yeongjong Sky City, Incheon. After the kids ran around Yeongjong Sky Sports Park, a 5-minute drive away, we had two Soa sets, a butter rice cake and a macadamia financier at 5PM sunset hour for 18,000 won in total, and the thin, crispy, not-too-buttery salt bread won the kids over too. 5PM sunset hour is worth a deliberate stop for salt bread on a day out in Yeongjongdo with little ones.

Yeongjongdo café for a seaside picnic: warmed butter rice cake, 5PM

5PM sunset hour is a salt bread and dessert café on the ground floor of the KCC Switzen shopping building in Yeongjong Sky City, Incheon. Before a trip to the sea, the writer ordered apricot black tea milk tea (4,900 won), a So-A set of salt bread and iced americano (6,000 won), an egg tart, a butter rice cake and a Taiwanese sandwich to go; the owner warmed the bread and labeled each item by name, so everything was still warm at a seaside park. The crispy-outside, chewy-inside butter rice cake from 5PM sunset hour was the top pick, and the salt bread and apricot milk tea eaten that evening were satisfying too.
