Korean BBQ private rooms in Songpa, Seoul: Hobakkkot Macha

Hobakkkot Macha Seokchon Lake Branch is a yakiniku restaurant with private rooms near Seokchon Lake in Songpa, Seoul. Three friends ordered the moriawase platter, Korean beef tongue, gimssam, and soybean-paste rice while taking their time to talk. Verdict: a great fit for a conversation-focused gathering or quiet date.

Gangnam café brunch with butter garlic shrimp pasta: Mild High Club

Mild High Club Apgujeong Branch is a café and dining spot in Gangnam, Seoul. At a pre-wedding gathering, we had the whole bacon wasabi mini romaine salad for ₩19,000 and my favorite butter garlic shrimp pasta for ₩26,000, then added clam chowder and focaccia. Mild High Club Apgujeong Branch is a place I’d happily return to again and again.
