Yeonnam-dong Korean restaurant: pork kimchi jjim at Susu Yeonnam

Susu Yeonnam (수수연남) is a modern Korean restaurant on Donggyo-ro 38an-gil in Yeonnam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. On a return visit, Susu Yeonnam's sous vide pork shoulder aged kimchi jjim (35,000 won) with an extra-large sorghum rice and flying fish roe sorghum rice came to 41,000 won in total, and the deeply fermented kimchi, melt-apart pork and fragrant minari vanished fast despite the big portion. If you want Korean comfort food in Yeonnam-dong, Susu Yeonnam's kimchi jjim is worth the trip.

With solo counter seats plus 2- and 4-person tables, Goshi Goshi is an easy place to eat a filling meal alone.

Gongdeok izakaya small plates: jamón tuna, mackerel sushi — Orot Silbi
