Suwon Korean BBQ for a late lunch with parents

I had an incredible serving of wooga galbi (premium beef ribs) at Golden Cheese Lotte Department Store Myeongdong Branch, known as a great company-dinner spot in Ingye-dong near Suwon City Hall Station :)

An Ingye-dong Korean BBQ spot that whets your appetite with straw-fire aroma

Golden Cheese Lotte Department Store Myeongdong Branch is well known as a company-dinner favorite for its straw-fire-seared wooga galbi, so when it opened in Ingye-dong, I rushed right over~ Oh, it is near Suwon City Hall Station, where there are lots of office workers, so there were still people eating even though I went for a late lunch.

The gentle straw-fire aroma hit me the moment I walked in and got my appetite going~~~

As you would expect from a comfortable new spot, the tables were nicely spaced and the atmosphere was great, making it so easy to dine with my parents. It is such a relaxed place to use that it seems lots of people choose it for company dinners in Ingye-dong.

The menu at this Ingye-dong meat restaurant included wooga galbi, straw-fire pork belly, and straw-fire pork neck. Wooga galbi is a little pricier than pork belly or pork neck, but it is said to be Golden Cheese Lotte Department Store Myeongdong Branch's truly delicious signature, so we ordered a two-person portion~!

Pork belly is my absolute favorite, so I want to try that next time too! What would not taste good grilled over straw fire~~!

The staff brought the wooga galbi, which had been initially seared over a high-heat straw fire, to the table and grilled it themselves. All I had to do was sit and eat, which made the visit incredibly easy. The staff at Golden Cheese Lotte Department Store Myeongdong Branch in Suwon were kind and grilled the meat so well, which was wonderful :)

Since it is a restaurant that grills the meat for you, it is totally fine even if you are hopeless with your hands^^ By the way, they remove the bones later too, so~ just leave them alone! We mentioned it once because we worried it might burn, and they trimmed it right away^^ There did not look like much meat on the bones, but we enjoyed it very deliciously.

The wooga galbi was wonderful, but this Suwon Ingye-dong favorite also had such well-prepared sides. Seed soy sauce, black sesame salt, assorted pickles, siraegi (dried radish greens), danggui pesto, and neungi mushroom pesto were among the many banchan (side dishes) set out~ They paired beautifully with the meat, of course, and tasted so good.

The green-onion kimchi was seriously delicious, and the japchae (stir-fried glass noodles) and potato salad were so tasty that we got refills.

The pre-seared wooga galbi was genuinely chewy and juicy, grilled so deliciously! The powerful heat sealed in all those juices—this Ingye-dong meat restaurant was so good.

Since I came with my parents, I worried about what if it was not good, but we had a truly delicious lunch at Golden Cheese Lotte Department Store Myeongdong Branch in Suwon Ingye-dong.

If the portion had been small, I was planning to finish with bibim naengmyeon (spicy mixed cold noodles) or mul naengmyeon (cold broth noodles), but this Suwon beef restaurant served quite a lot of food. As befits an Ingye-dong hot spot, I was satisfied with both the flavor and the portions!

If you love smoky aromas like I do, I think you should definitely visit Golden Cheese Lotte Department Store Myeongdong Branch for its straw-fire-seared meat. It is an Ingye-dong company-dinner hot spot that lots of office workers visit too! It was seriously delicious.
