Siheung restaurant for bacon cream pasta: Jeongssi Hambak

In short

Jeongssi Hambak Baegot Branch is a Western-style restaurant in Siheung, Gyeonggi, serving hamburg steak, pasta, and fried sides. We visited an hour before closing on Friday evening for double Toowoomba hamburg steak, bacon cream pasta, assorted fried snacks, and green grape ade. Verdict: the generously portioned cream pasta and spicy hamburg steak were especially satisfying.

Jeongssi Hambak Baegot Branch Menu

Jeongssi Hambak Baegot Branch has a wide range of dishes, starting with hamburg steak. You can order a double portion and choose from classic, mozzarella cheese, Toowoomba, rosé, and other sauces, which was nice. Every hamburg steak comes with rice, a fried egg, and salad, so keep that in mind haha.

There are plenty of pasta choices too, including tomato, rosé, and cream sauces. They also have pork cutlet and fried rice, so it is easy to pick according to your taste.

There are lots of sides as well, including kimchi fried rice, tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), fried snacks, and cheese sticks. They sell sodas, ade, soju, and beer too, so it seems like a nice place for a light drink with dinner. They are also running an SNS review event, so I recommend checking it out and getting an ade!

Friday Evening Restaurant Atmosphere

After ordering, we took a quick look around the restaurant. The atmosphere was really nice haha. We visited around 8 p.m. on Friday, and since it was an hour before closing, it was relaxed. The food came out quickly, the staff were kind, and we were able to take our time eating before we left haha.

The lighting and tables were pretty, and the wide spacing between tables made for a comfortable meal. There is also a long, straight seating area, so I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place for a group gathering in Baegot.

Pickles, kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi), jalapeños, scissors, and wet wipes are available at the self-service bar, so keep that in mind!

We ordered a green grape ade. It was quite a large serving, refreshingly sweet, and delicious.

Assorted fried snack side dish

Assorted Fried Snacks as a Side

First up is the assorted fried snack platter we ordered as a side. I liked that it came with several different kinds of fried snacks.

Components of the assorted fried snack platter
Cheese balls, croquettes, and fried shrimp

It came with cheese balls, croquettes, and fried shrimp. There were also two types of croquettes—vegetable shrimp and potato—and we enjoyed them haha.

Complimentary tteokbokki

We visited around 8 p.m. on a weekday, and perhaps because it was close to closing, they gave us tteokbokki as a complimentary dish haha. It was sweet and not spicy.

Bacon cream pasta

Generously Portioned Bacon Cream Pasta

Let me show you the bacon cream pasta too. It was priced in the low ₩10,000 range but came in a huge portion, so it felt like great value. The quality was excellent too. The noodles were not overcooked, and the cream sauce was perfectly seasoned and soaked nicely into the pasta, so it was really delicious.

The cream sauce was rich and thick, while the bacon was pleasantly chewy, making it great to eat with the pasta haha.

Double Toowoomba hamburg steak

Spicy Double Toowoomba Hamburg Steak

Next, let me show you the Toowoomba hamburg steak. We ordered the double portion, which came with two hamburg steaks.

A salad comes with the dish, and the fresh vegetables with their sweet-and-tangy dressing were delicious.

Complimentary salad

Two large patties of hamburg steak came out, and they had a great texture and tasted delicious haha.

Large hamburg steak patties

Rice was laid beneath the hamburg steak. The sauce had a tasty spicy kick, so it never felt too rich and we could keep eating it. The portion was large enough to leave us full. You can also ask for the rice separately if you prefer, so that is good to keep in mind when ordering.
