I took a day off work after ages and was soaking up the freedom, and I thought — of course, a weekday day-drink should happen somewhere full of office workers!!! So I headed to Wine Joomak Chacha Yeouido Station Branch, a corkage-free wine bar in Yeouido!!

Wine Joomak Chacha Yeouido Station Branch is on the 2nd floor of the Estrenue building, just a 2-minute walk from Exit 3 of Yeouido Station. Super close to the station!!! Great for Yeouido office workers to pop into before heading home.

This Yeouido spot is in the Estrenue building~ The exterior is decorated like a pretty gift box, so it caught my eye right away~!!

Walking in, the huge floor-to-ceiling window and modern interior were so pretty I couldn't help but gasp lol. Isn't this the perfect place for daytime drinking lol. The space is pretty large with lots of group seating too, so it'd be popular for Yeouido work dinners.

I also loved the wine barrel decor~!!

Looking at it again, what a gorgeous view lol. Green trees peeking out between the buildings — maybe because the weather was nice, it just made me even happier lol.

The tournament-style chart that makes picking wine easy

On one wall, true to a Yeouido wine spot, there was a tournament-style guide to help you pick a wine based on your taste. Choosing wine from plain descriptions alone is often hard, so being able to compare like this made it much easier~

The whole place has a gallery-like interior with lots of props, so it was fun to look around~ There are also good seats for couples, so I'd recommend it as a Yeouido date course too~!!!

Is the wine really free at lunchtime?

Wine Joomak Chacha Yeouido Station Branch sells a lunch menu until 1:30pm, and gives out free wine during that time. And here's the really crazy part!!! True to Yeouido being full of office workers, they have a lunch menu — with free wine lol. That's why it's apparently super popular during lunch hours... I missed lunchtime and couldn't drink it ㅠㅠ so sad ㅠㅠ

How did the Te Cano Kin Pinot Noir taste?

I wanted to try one of the wines Wine Joomak Chacha carries, so I ordered the Te Cano Kin Pinot Noir~

A staff member explained it themselves and opened and poured the wine for us!! It wasn't too sweet and had rich fruity aromas, so it was pretty tasty~ No wonder it's rated 3.9 on Vivino lol.

As a complimentary starter, they gave us crackers and house-made cream cheese with nuts mixed in, and the texture was amazing~!! They could just sell that on its own!!

And after a short wait, the beef belly rosé tteokbokki (rice cakes) arrived!! It was less intense than Yeopddeok and tasted amazing with the arugula~!!! The rice cake texture was insane ㅠㅠㅠ There was a ton of sausage too, and not thin sausage but thick, really tasty ones.

There's no happier weekday than this!!!! It was the perfect pairing for red wine. One bite of tteokbokki, one sip of wine, one bite of cracker, one sip of wine.

A very happy day off, spent gazing at the green view~
