I'd had such a good meal at Euljiro Yeontan Gui in Wolmido before, so I went back — this time to the Majeon branch! 😎

Euljiro Yeontan Gui, the original branch
Parking and the room at Euljiro Yeontan Gui Majeon Branch, near Geomdan Sageori
Euljiro Yeontan Gui Majeon Branch is on Geomdan-ro in Majeon-dong, Geomdan, Incheon, and it's easy to visit by car — there's parking space right in front, plus a basement lot. Parking matters a lot when you're hunting for a restaurant near Geomdan Sageori, so having one less thing to worry about was a nice touch.

The restaurant is set in a converted house, and you can still see the staircase leading up to the second floor — it felt cozy and kind of fascinating haha.
The tables are fairly spacious too, which makes it a good fit for a group dinner in Geomdan.
Seafood at a pork restaurant: scallops, abalone and seasonal tiger prawns
One of the charms of Euljiro Yeontan Gui is that it has seafood on the menu too!! You can order scallops, abalone, or sea squirt alongside your grilled pork, and the combination felt refreshing.

It's tiger prawn season, so they had those on offer too, but I was already too full to try them — still a bit sad about that, so next time I'm definitely getting the prawns!

What comes with the 35,900-won pork one-geun platter?
I ordered the pork one-geun (600g), which lets you try pork belly, pork neck, pork jowl, hugogi (pork scraps), skirt meat, and pork skin all at once.
- Pork one-geun (6 cuts) ₩35,900
- Doenjang jjigae ₩2,000
- Rice ₩1,000
- Cola ₩2,000

The kimchi, bean sprouts, and garlic that go straight onto the grill were already piled on generously before we even started cooking haha.

There's also pineapple and radish wraps that don't come as standard, so take a look and grab whatever you feel like.

It's a great setup if you want to try a bunch of different cuts, so it should work well for anyone who has trouble deciding what to order!?
Charcoal-grilled pork belly with the signature frozen radish salad
The pork belly went on the charcoal grill first, sizzling away — pork belly is the fundamentals, after all haha.

Once the pork belly was fully grilled, the staff lined it up in neat rows, which looked appetizing and also made it easier to keep it from burning 👍🏻

And here's Euljiro Yeontan Gui's signature: the radish salad! Unlike the usual version, it's lightly frozen, giving it a cool, refreshing texture that pairs with the pork in a completely different way.

It cuts cleanly through the richness of the charcoal-grilled pork, so I kept reaching for it. You really have to eat it while it's still frozen.

Doenjang jjigae, the remaining cuts and the self-bar
We also ordered doenjang jjigae with rice — the stew had a slight kick of spice, which paired well with the pork. It was also great spooned over rice, and having a warm bite of stew in between the grilled meat was really satisfying.

After that we worked through the pork neck, pork jowl, hugogi, and skirt meat — each cut has a slightly different texture, so it's fun to compare them as you go. If you're missing any side dishes, you can grab them from the self-bar or just ask the staff, who brought things over without any hassle. The seasoned chives were so good~~

If you're looking for a restaurant near Geomdan Sageori, I'd recommend the pork one-geun set for anyone who wants to try a range of cuts in one go.

Finishing the meal with grilled pork skin
We wrapped up with grilled pork skin, and of course it was great 👍🏻 It wasn't tough or hard at all — soft and chewy, getting nuttier the more you chew. There's soybean powder ready at the self-bar too, so grab some and dip it if that's your thing.
