Saturday afternoon goods zone and gift-box bagels: Orange Bagel Suwon

In short

Orange Bagel is a large bagel café with free parking on Omokcheon-ro in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi. On a return visit around 1pm on a Saturday, the writer paired a Laugen butter bagel and double cream bagel with honey lemon cream cheese and iced americano, then browsed the first-floor goods zone. Buy four bagels and they'll pack them into an orange gift box, making this a great pick for gifting too.

Orange Bagel looks pretty no matter when you come. The parking lot is huge too, which is so nice 🫶 It was the perfect day — a Saturday with great weather. I think this might be the best-vibe café in Suwon 😉

Maybe because I went a bit early, there were so many kinds of bagels and the display was totally full — I got so excited picking ☺️ The staff were all so kind too, always a good mood here 😙

They kept refilling with freshly baked bagels haha

There's also a fridge with bagel sandwiches and various flavored cream cheeses — spreading those on a bagel sounds delicious 😙 The new bagel chips (₩4,500) were a first for me, they looked crunchy and nutty!

The gift box for buying 4 bagels

If you buy 4 bagels, they pack them into a gift box! So convenient for taking on a picnic, and so pretty as a gift too... that gorgeous orange package 🧡

There was also a good variety of cup wine and drinks to go with the bagels. The orange americano is a unique coffee you can only get at Orange Bagel! 🍊 (₩7,000) Regular americano is ₩5,500.

Laugen butter bagel (₩6,900)

My favorite... the Laugen butter bagel. So glossy, doesn't it look amazing? It's packed full of butter and sprinkled with salt, so sweet-salty-savory perfection. They gave me one 💙

Bagels taste best with iced americano, right? ☕️ I picked the double cream bagel (₩7,600) loaded with sesame seeds, plus honey lemon cream cheese (₩3,800)!👍

The Laugen butter bagel is nutty and salty on the outside like a pretzel, but the center is packed with a whole chunk of butter, and the bread is brushed with something like a sweet syrup, so it's pure sweet-salty-savory... even better than I expected, I demolished it in no time ㅠㅠ It has kind of a dense bite, but take one bite of bagel and drink some iced americano — truly the best 🧡

How was the double cream bagel?

The double cream bagel has a really strong sesame flavor, nutty, and the cream is sweet but not the least bit heavy, so the combination was so good ㅜㅡㅠ🫶

Saturday afternoon seating situation

First-floor seating area at Orange Bagel
Second-floor window seats and group tables

When I went around 1pm on Saturday, seats were fairly open! There's seating on the first floor too, and the second floor is great for reading alone as well as sitting in a group 😊 Great to go with friends, and a lovely vibe for spending time with family too 👍

Relaxed café seating on a Saturday afternoon

You can also self-pack bagels to take out. Cutlery for packing is ready too, which was so convenient ☺️

Browsing the first-floor goods zone

Browsing the first-floor goods zone was a small joy too... key rings, tape, stickers and more — so many cute goods worth keeping or gifting 🤓 The weather was so nice that every time I looked out the window, it put me in a good mood 😙

Cute little bagel decorations everywhere haha, I wanted to touch them but held back 😉

Parking is easy too, so if you live near Gyeonggi it's worth a visit on the weekend 🫶 Orange Bagel — always a place I leave feeling healed and happy no matter when I come. I'll come back next time to try other bagels 🥯
