Where do you go for grilled shellfish near Siheung and Ansan? A few years ago I went to the all-you-can-refill place in Oido and was disappointed — they gave us scallops and razor clams at first, but after that only refilled with the cheaper shellfish.
My husband especially loves scallops, so he was let down too. I didn't want to go back to Oido, but I still had a craving for grilled shellfish, so here's a place in Baegot I found instead. It's an all-you-can-eat grilled shellfish restaurant where you can help yourself to as much scallop, razor clam, Manila clam and other shellfish as you want, plus meat and a self-bar, with no limit.
Ate so many scallops I won't think about them for a while 👍🏼
If you're thinking of going, please read to the end — I've written down all the tips I picked up from actually eating there.

Why we chose Baegot over Oido

🅿️ Parking is easy here
Unlimited Refill Grilled Shellfish Baegot Branch is on the 2nd floor of Central Purple Building A, Avenue France, Baegot. All the buildings are connected so you can park anywhere and still find it easily — I actually parked at Building B and walked over.
🙅♀️ No touts pulling you in
If you want that seaside vibe, Oido is obviously the pick, but I found the parking inconvenient and there were always people trying to pull you into their restaurant. This time I could eat comfortably, and it was quick to move on elsewhere afterward. I went here before heading to browse the Siheung outlet, instead of the usual Baegot Sincheon-ro restaurants.
😋 Pick exactly what you want, as much as you want
You can eat until you're stuffed and sit as long as you like — no time limit, and if you add draft beer, that's unlimited too, so I'd also recommend it as a group dinner spot in Baegot.
Even if you're full, don't skip the ramyeon (instant noodles).
Are the scallops really unlimited?
⭕️ Yes — not just scallops, every menu item is truly unlimited. You pick whatever shellfish you want straight from the tank and put it in a basket yourself.

On the day I visited they had bay scallops, razor clams, abalone, pink scallops, Manila clams, hard clams, horn shells, Venus clams, cockles and surf clams.
We tried a bit of everything at first and ended up basically building a scallop mountain by the end. No limit on quantity, and my husband was thrilled. At first I thought ₩35,900 per person wasn't exactly cheap, but once I'd eaten scallops until I was ready to burst, my satisfaction shot way up.
What if you don't like shellfish?

Each table has a separate grill plate for shellfish and one for meat, so you can grill both at once. Eating only shellfish can get a bit much, but grilling meat in between made a great combo. There's also plenty else — grilled prawns, cheese sticks, ramyeon, corn dogs — so it works fine even with someone who doesn't like seafood.

A look around the self-bar

The self-bar had several kinds of meat — pork belly, pork shoulder, beef brisket, short ribs — plus sides like cheese sticks, vegetables, kimchi, instant rice, cheese and various sauces.

It's mostly a help-yourself system. It might feel a bit hectic at first, but not having to ask staff every time actually made it more convenient.

⭐️ Unexpected self-bar favorites ⭐️
- Corn dogs: fluffy, almost like pancake batter.
- Canned peaches and pineapple: ⭐️Highly recommend⭐️ Perfect palate cleanser right when you start getting tired of shellfish, genuinely delicious 👍🏼

Tips from someone who ate here
1. Don't miss the parking entrance

Apparently a lot of people get confused because the public parking lot entrance is right next to the building. If you see the public lot entrance, don't instinctively drive straight in ❌ — turn left instead to find the building's own parking entrance ⭕️
You only get parking support if you park in the building's lot.
2. Drinks and ramyeon are billed separately
They're not included in the buffet price. Put anything with an extra charge into the green basket, and bring the whole basket to the register when you pay.

3. Steamed shellfish costs 4,000 won extra per table
When you first order, you have to choose between grilled or steamed shellfish. Grilled is more work but has its own charm; steamed means less sweating over the flame. It's hard to switch partway through, so decide up front.
4. The easy way to open a scallop
Hold the meat side down and use the grill plate handle as a lever to pop the shell open — it's much easier.
5. Ask for a neck cooler if it gets hot inside
Grilling indoors inevitably heats the place up, but a staff member brought us neck coolers before we even asked. That little touch was really thoughtful.

It's not the seaside dining atmosphere, but parking is easy and you can eat scallops and razor clams without holding back. If you've ever been frustrated by Oido's parking or a stingy refill lineup, I'd recommend giving this place a try.
