We went with the Big Son Set for two, ₩36,000. Bottom line first: the variety of fish and the portion size made for a solidly satisfying meal for the price. There was just one catch — parking was trickier than I expected.

The Big Son Set comes with mixed grilled fish plus a stew, and we chose sundubu-jjigae. The fish came out all at once — mackerel, cutlassfish, croaker, and flounder — which I liked much more than ordering just one kind, since we got to taste a bit of everything.

There were two of us, and the moment the fish plate landed, we both thought "that's more than expected." Ordering grilled fish individually in Jeju adds up fast, so getting four types of fish plus a stew for ₩36,000 felt like genuinely good value to me.

I tried every fish, and my top pick was the flounder

With several types of fish on one plate, we naturally started comparing them bite by bite. 😋 The one I kept reaching for was the flounder. The grilled fish overall was solidly good, but flounder was my favorite.

We went around 6pm on a weekend evening and luckily got seated with no wait. That doesn't mean the place was quiet, though — customers kept coming in steadily the whole time we were eating.

What actually gave me the most trouble was parking. We parked in the alley next to the restaurant, but the alley itself is narrow, and pulling in and parking was harder than I expected. If you're not used to driving a rental car, or your car is on the larger side, I'd recommend thinking this through before you go. If I went again, rather than heading straight into the alley beside the restaurant, I'd check nearby for a parking spot first.
