My husband loves sushi, and he said there was a good spot nearby, so we went to Moshi Moshi at Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch.
Where is Moshi Moshi Sushi in Dongnae, and what are the hours?
Moshi Moshi Sushi, Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch is on the 8th floor of Lotte Department Store Dongnae, at 1393 Jungang-daero, Dongnae-gu, Busan, South Korea. It's open daily from 10:00 to 20:30 (last order), and closed on department store holidays.

It's on the 8th floor of Lotte Department Store, so if you're shopping and get hungry, you can just stop in for sushi... and there's a movie theater right next door too, so you could watch a movie afterward — sounds perfect. Parking is available in the department store's lot.

Inside Moshi Moshi Sushi: seating for solo diners and for kids
Moshi Moshi Sushi, Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch has standard 4-seat and 6-seat tables, plus bar seating. We visited on a weekend evening. The interior is clean, comfortable, and pleasant to eat in. With the bar seating, it seems like a fine place to come alone too.

There were plenty of baby chairs on hand, and there's group seating further inside too.

There are plenty of options for a light lunch too, not just dinner.

What we ordered at Moshi Moshi Sushi: Set 4 at 58,900 won
At Moshi Moshi Sushi, Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch we ordered the Set 4 (2–3 person, ₩58,900), a kids' pork cutlet with mini udon (₩11,000), and chicken karaage (₩8,000). Every table has a tablet with a photo menu, so you can see exactly what you're getting just by looking.
Chopsticks and water cups were already set out on the table, and they brought out a kids' cutlery set for us too. Moshi Moshi has locations at the Busan National University main branch, Lotte Department Store Gwangbok Branch, and Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch. They have everything from fresh sashimi to a wide range of sushi, ramen, udon, and kid-friendly dishes. Worried we'd have trouble choosing, my husband and I actually talked over what to order before we even left home.
- Set 4 (2–3 person) ₩58,900 — 18 pieces sushi + shrimp tempura + choice of noodle (seafood yaki udon +₩4,000)
- Kids' pork cutlet + mini udon ₩11,000
- Chicken karaage ₩8,000

The complimentary side: silken tofu salad
When you order, some complimentary side dishes come out, and both the salad and the silken tofu salad were delicious. Even our first kid, who doesn't like tofu, seemed to love the sesame dressing and polished off the whole silken tofu salad.

The kids' set: pork cutlet with mini udon, 11,000 won
The kids' set came out first. It's pork cutlet and udon, dishes that basically no kid dislikes. The udon broth was really clean-tasting and not salty at all, so the kids drank it straight down.

Set 4 sushi and chicken karaage, 8,000 won
Next came our 2–3 person set and the karaage. The karaage's batter was nice and crisp while the meat inside stayed tender, so it seemed like something people of all ages would enjoy.
Doesn't the sushi look so fresh and delicious?

The sushi came out two pieces per type, which was great for the two of us to share different varieties. The moment we tasted it... the sashimi had a nice chewy texture, and the eel just melted in our mouths, haha. As for the shrimp tempura... freshly fried, the crunch the moment you bit into it was practically ASMR-worthy, and the texture was seriously 👍.
Seafood yaki udon, a 4,000 won upgrade
The seafood yaki udon was piled high with bonito flakes, and packed with squid, shrimp, and other seafood. The sauce wasn't too salty either, so it was perfect for the kids to eat.

The Set 4 at Moshi Moshi let us try a wide variety of sushi, and the freshly fried, crispy shrimp tempura came in a really generous portion.

The kids said it was delicious and scarfed it all down. Our youngest loved the shrimp tempura so much that she basically ate it all by herself.
Another good meal today ❤️
