A quiet nail salon in Dongtan

Green Nail is a ground-floor shop on Dongtanbansong-gil, so it wasn't hard to find.

Once inside, the whole place had a quiet atmosphere. I personally prefer places where I can just sit comfortably and get my nails done, rather than somewhere crowded or where I have to keep chatting the whole time, so I liked the vibe here.

There's also a space where two people can get their nails done at the same time, so it looked like a good spot to visit with a friend or family member too.

There was a wide variety of nail options and what looked like a lot of beads too, all neatly organized.

Besides the nail area, there's also a separate space for lash treatments. And since two people can be serviced at once, it seemed like a good place to visit with a friend or family member.

What about parking?

Parking was easier than I expected. Parking is always a bit of a worry when driving somewhere, but here you can park both in front of and behind the shop. It's not a place where you have to circle the block looking for a spot, so it was fine to visit by car.

I parked in front of the shop, and there was someone nearby handling parking payments. The first 1.5 hours are free, and if you're leaving within that time, you just need to let that person know before you drive off.

The variety of designs was obvious right from the entrance — they had an amazing range of options.

This time I picked a wine-red tone to match autumn. In summer bright colors caught my eye, but once autumn rolls around, these deeper tones naturally start to pull me in.

'Wine-red' doesn't automatically mean dark and heavy either. Once it was on my hands, it felt calm but still had clear color presence, which was great for an autumn mood.

And throughout the service, the technician kept checking whether I was uncomfortable. When you're getting your nails done, you often have to keep your hand in one position for a long time, which can get surprisingly uncomfortable — so having her ask first made it easy for me to shift my position comfortably.

It's the kind of thing you can't really tell from photos alone, but it makes a noticeable difference when you actually get the service done.
