Pickles Jeonpo hours and where to park
Pickles Jeonpo is a pizza and pasta place on Seojeon-ro 46beon-gil in Busanjin-gu, open daily from 11:00 to 21:00. Last order is 20:00, takeout is available, and groups can be accommodated too.

Had another lunch date after a while 💕 We parked at Woongjin Parking and walked over, which took about 3-4 minutes. There are so many good places in Jeonpo-dong these days that we had a hard time deciding, but we picked Pickles Jeonpo!
Is there a wait at Pickles on a weekday lunch?
Thank goodness for weekdays 👏🏻 Sounds like there can be a wait on weekends. We came during weekday lunch hours and got seated right away.
The moment we walked in, the clean, bright interior put me in a good mood ✨ The kitchen was super clean too!
There were a lot of customers, so I took this photo after some of them left. The interior was really clean. It gets busy during lunch. The tables are also fairly close together, so it might be hard to have a secret conversation (?)

If you run out of pickles, you can just grab more yourself. There's water next to it too.
Aprons hang by the wall too, so you can grab one yourself.
What comes in the Pickles half-and-half pizza and pasta set
We tried the set menu. For the half-and-half pizza we chose jambon-beurre pizza & taco pizza, and for the pasta, puttanesca. Pickles has such a wide variety of pizzas that we spent a while deciding over the menu, but we were curious about both the jambon-beurre and the taco pizza, so we decided to try both. It's nice that they offer a half-and-half option so you can get two flavors on one pizza.
These pickles seem to be house-made, and they're delicious.
Every table also has hot sauce and salt. I thought it might be pepper, but it's salt! It's smoked salt, and apparently people dip the pizza crust in it.
Can't skip the Coke.
I really liked that both dishes came out at once, so we didn't have to wait around for photos 💕
How do the jambon-beurre and taco pizzas taste?
Jambon-beurre pizza & taco pizza
The look alone is different from a typical pizza, so I had no idea what to expect flavor-wise.
We started with the jambon-beurre pizza, and the salty character of the jambon combined with a soft, mellow quality made for a better combo than I expected. Adding arugula on top brought a fragrant note along with the saltiness, so it wasn't greasy and tasted great.
The other half was taco pizza 🌮 True to its name, it had the flavor and spice of taco ingredients, a completely different taste from the jambon-beurre pizza. If jambon-beurre pizza is nutty and mild, taco pizza is bold and intense. That's why I was glad we ordered it half-and-half! As someone who once was really into tacos, it was intense and delicious to have that flavor again after a while haha. But as far as pizza goes, I liked the jambon-beurre pizza a bit more.
Puttanesca pasta at Pickles

The puttanesca pasta had a tomato base layered with the flavors of olives, capers, and anchovies, giving it a really intriguing taste. It felt a bit on the healthier side too, and since the pizza was pretty rich and salty, eating pasta in between worked out well as a combo.
With one pizza and one pasta between the two of us, the portion was plenty and we ate until we were full. The set menu was even better because we got to try three different dishes!
Who should book Pickles for a Jeonpo lunch date?
The overall vibe is casual, so it works well both for hanging out with friends and for a lunch date. If you like pizza and pasta, it's worth a visit if you're looking for pizza near Seomyeon. Above all, I think Pickles' charm is being able to try pizzas that are a bit different from the usual, like jambon-beurre or taco, rather than the common toppings.
If you're craving something different in pizza, or want pizza and pasta for a lunch date in Jeonpo, I'll cautiously recommend Pickles Jeonpo.
