Roast chicken cream risotto date night in Jeonpo, Busan: Brassway
In short
Brassway is a Western/brunch restaurant in Busanjin, Busan, tucked in a mint-colored building down an alley near Jeonpo Station Exit 7. After a weekend evening wait, the house salad, baby potato fries, and roast chicken cream risotto were ordered, with the doenjang-sauced chicken over barley cream risotto standing out most. A recommended pick for a Jeonpo date that wants both atmosphere and a menu with a twist.

Found this place while looking for somewhere with good atmosphere in Jeonpo✨ The food was special too, so it was perfect for a Seomyeon date course.

I wanted to eat somewhere with a nice atmosphere with my boyfriend for the first time in a while, so I looked around Jeonpo and ended up at Brassway.
The European vibe hit from the entrance, so I took a few photos before even going inside📸

It's pretty close to Jeonpo Station Exit 7, and being in a mint-colored building down a small alley made it fun to find. It was the weekend so we had a short wait before getting in, and customers kept coming in the whole time we ate.
Cozy atmosphere, great for a date
The place isn't big, but it has 4-person tables, 2-person seats, and bar seats. The lighting isn't too bright, so it was good for photos too.

When we sat down there was a little envelope on the table, which was such a cute detail💌 You order easily via QR code, and the food takes a bit of time after ordering.

Since everything is cooked to order, it said it could take an average of 15–20 minutes, but chatting away, it came out faster than expected.

There was quite a variety to choose from, from pasta to pizza to risotto.
The house salad came out first

We ordered the house salad, baby potato fries, and roast chicken cream risotto. As each dish arrived, they explained it to us, which made us feel well taken care of.

The salad combined ricotta cheese, baby greens, and arugula for an overall fresh taste.

Yuzu dressing, cranberries, crisp vegetables, and nutty burrata cheese made it a completely fresh brunch. Great to eat lightly before the meal, and the dressing wasn't overly heavy, which whetted the appetite🥗

The roast chicken cream risotto was better than expected

And the dish that stuck with me most that day! Roast chicken cream risotto — roast chicken brushed with a special doenjang (fermented soybean paste) sauce sits on top of a rich, mushroom-laced barley cream risotto. At first I thought 'doenjang plus cream?' but once I tried it, the combination was much more natural than expected!

The doenjang scent isn't strong, just adds a subtle umami, and eating it with the fried green onions made it nutty and fragrant. It tasted different from the usual cream risotto, which made it even more memorable.
The baby potato fries were also a treat
The baby potato fries come out crispy, served with gochujang ranch sauce and herbs.

Salty with a nice umami, and the harmony with the herbs really felt like eating high-end Italian food! You could really tell the chef trained abroad!😋

One-line review
A Jeonpo favorite where you get both atmosphere and food with a twist!

I'd want to come back whenever I want something a bit more special than the usual Western menu. The atmosphere is cozy enough for a date with a partner, but also seems fine for slightly more special occasions like anniversaries or wedding invitation gatherings.
If you're looking for a Seomyeon date spot in Jeonpo or a Jeonpo brunch restaurant with good atmosphere, Brassway is worth remembering🫶
