Duroc pork BBQ with 4 nearby parking lots in Busan: Daepae Maket

In short

Daepae Maket Busan Daeyeon Branch is a Korean BBQ restaurant on Suyeong-ro in Nam-gu, Busan. The writer grilled 5 servings of Duroc thinly-sliced pork belly with family, finished the leftover meat, kimchi and self-bar ingredients as fried rice, and found the 1-hour support at 4 nearby parking lots plus a large kids' playroom made it an easy family outing by car. If you want parking, value, and a kid-friendly setup all in one place, this is worth remembering.

A spacious, clean dining room with a big playroom

One of parents' biggest worries during a family outing is "will the kids get bored?" This restaurant is a Daeyeon-dong spot with a kids' playroom that completely erases that concern, so I had high expectations before visiting.

Visiting in person, the interior was really spacious and kept sparkling clean! The tables were spaced generously and group seating was well set up, so even with lots of guests it never felt cramped and we could eat comfortably~ Especially great: a dedicated playroom tucked into one side of the restaurant where kids can safely run around, so the kids get to play while the adults chat comfortably and grill meat — the best setup!

A self bar with about 30 items, and menu prices

They run a self bar with about 30 items — vegetables and side dishes to go with the meat, snacks, even desserts.

  • Adults / elementary students: ₩2,000
  • Children (4–7): ₩1,000

For a small fee, you can enjoy unlimited fresh lettuce wraps and various side dishes — the value for money was honestly surprising.

The menu also has a wide range of meats:

  • [Premium Duroc pork, acorn-fed] Thinly-sliced pork belly & pork neck: ₩4,900 each (the acorn-fed Duroc breed gives it an extra nutty flavor.)
  • Gochujang thinly-sliced pork belly: ₩5,700
  • Thinly-sliced beef tripe / Jeju native pork / domestic pork jowl: ₩6,900 each
  • Jeju native fresh pork belly: ₩8,900
  • 1++ Korean beef brisket: ₩11,900

Also touching: a refreshing welcome fish cake soup comes free with your first order! It's a free extra, but honestly good enough that I wanted to order more~

There's also a kids' menu — mini pork cutlet, chicken nuggets, and seaweed-flake rice — served on a cute dinosaur tray or Catch! Teenieping tray (₩4,000), showing thoughtful care for guests with kids.

5 servings of Duroc acorn-fed thinly-sliced pork belly, how was it?

We started with 5 servings of the signature [Premium Duroc, acorn-fed] thinly-sliced pork belly. As soon as we ordered, the thin slices went straight onto the hot grill — the meat being thin so it cooks fast is a big part of the charm of this cut!

Maybe because it's Duroc raised on acorns, there was zero gamey smell, and a nutty aroma filled the air the more it cooked. The moment it hit my mouth it was tender, not dry at all, with juice and nutty flavor bursting through — my kid ate it right up~

Finishing with DIY fried rice

Once we'd eaten a good amount of meat, we added a bowl of rice so the meal wouldn't lose momentum, mixing it with the leftover meat on the grill, kimchi, and self-bar ingredients into a tasty fried rice~

(By the way, if you join the review event you can get the DIY fried rice or iced yellow peaches free, so don't skip it!) On the way out, there was even sweet ice cream! A Daeyeon-dong BBQ place with a kids' playroom that nails every step — that's Daepae Maket Daeyeon.

Overall verdict

If you're in the Nam-gu area of Busan and looking for a BBQ restaurant that's convenient to park at, clean, and great value for money, I can confidently recommend this place — good meat, generous portions, and a playroom kids will love, all three boxes checked. Make some good memories with family or friends at Daepae Maket Daeyeon this weekend! It'll be a choice you won't regret~
