Yeongjong café with carrot cake and Pink Wall Ade: Pink Wall Cafe

I'm someone who's helpless in front of anything pink. So when I heard there was a pretty pink-concept café not too far away in Yeongjong — and that it's even pet-friendly! — I figured I should scout it out before bringing my dog Gamja along. So here's my review of Pink Wall Cafe, from a date trip with my husband.

Pink Wall Cafe hours and pet policy

Pink Wall Cafe is open from 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM, with last order at 8:00 PM. Pets are welcome, there's a private parking lot, restrooms are separated by gender, and baby chairs are available.

There's parking in both the front and back of the building, so it seemed like a great spot to drive out to.

After parking and heading toward the entrance, the outdoor space immediately caught my eye. There were several tables set up outside, with parasols scattered around to block the harsh sun.

It's still pretty hot out, but on a day with a nice breeze, sitting outside with a coffee in the cool wind would be lovely.

This is a pet-friendly café in Yeongjong, and while dogs can't come indoors, they're welcome in the outdoor greenhouse and terrace area. The outdoor space is decorated so prettily that it's the perfect fit for spending time with your pup!

What is the indoor space like? Pink chandeliers and props

The moment I opened the door, what caught my eye was this gorgeous pink chandelier! I was drawn into the glamorous atmosphere from the entrance itself.

The store had a long layout stretching toward the back, with plenty of tables including several large ones that could seat groups — so it looked comfortable for visiting with friends or family.

But what really hit my sweet spot were the pink props scattered everywhere!

As a certified pink-lover, I was busy going 'oh my gosh, oh my gosh~' the moment I walked in.

Even the baby chair was pink!! And the tissues were pink too.

Opening the door next to the counter revealed yet another outdoor space. There was a lovely photo zone next to the pink building, and beside it, another outdoor area!

There were tables and simple benches scattered around outside, all surrounded by lush flowers and plants — just strolling around and looking at everything felt healing.

And that's not all! Right next to the main building is another space — an outdoor greenhouse! My husband said it looked like it might be hot in there, so I opened the door right away, and cool air rushed out since the AC was running.

Best of all, this space is also pet-friendly. If we visit with Gamja and it's too hot outside, spending time here would be a great option. There were plenty of tables set up, and pink accents were everywhere here too!

Pink Wall Cafe menu: four signature drinks and cakes

Pink Wall Cafe's signature menu features four drinks: Pink Wall Ade, Lemonicano, Americano Grapefruit, and Sungahyo Yogurt Ade. Beyond those, there was a fairly wide variety of coffees, lattes, ades, and teas.

Next to the counter, the display case showed off colorful, pretty cakes,

as well as simple bagels that pair nicely with coffee.

Since I'm at a café, I've got to try at least one signature drink, right? We went with the Pink Wall Ade, an iced Americano, and — of course — carrot cake!

How does the Pink Wall Ade taste?

First, the Pink Wall Ade — true to its name as the signature drink, the visual alone is gorgeous.

It was cloudy that day so the photo didn't quite capture the vividness, but in person the colors are even more vibrant and vivid — just looking at it put me in a good mood.

After stirring it up well and taking a sip, I could taste the sweet flavor of peach and mango, with a fizzy carbonation on top that made it refreshing and crisp.

I'm usually not a fan of overly sweet drinks, but this had just the right, subtle level of sweetness.

The Americano had a slight acidity, but overall it was clean and easy to drink without any fuss.

And after much deliberation among the many cakes, I picked the carrot cake.

My husband doesn't usually like carrots, but oddly enough, he does like carrot cake...

Isn't the visual just gorgeous? It looked like a tiny, pretty flower had been gently placed on top.

It's almost too pretty to eat, but of course it's got to taste good too. After all, isn't dessert something you eat with your eyes first and your mouth second? When I sliced into it with a fork, cream cheese was packed generously between the layers~

The subtle carrot flavor blended beautifully with the soft cream cheese for a taste that was both sweet and nutty!

It paired well with both the coffee and the sweet ade! The display case also had tiramisu, melon slice cake, cookies and cream, and green grape fresh cream cake — after trying the carrot cake, I could tell the others would be just as good, and I want to come back and try one at a time.

Is Pink Wall Cafe worth a stop?

Pink Wall Cafe, a pet-friendly café in Yeongjong, was so beautifully decorated from the pink-themed interior and props to the outdoor spaces. The drinks were tasty and the desserts were right up my alley, so I'll definitely be back next time — maybe as a drive with my dog Gamja.
