Iced latte and quiet laptop work at Seongsu café T Coffee

These days I end up in Seongsu pretty often for work. It's a great neighborhood to head to when you have plans, since there are so many pretty cafés and good restaurants — but as an office worker, when I actually want to find a café to open my laptop and get some work done, it's surprisingly hard to find a quiet one.

I finished up an appointment in Seongsu and had a bit of time left, so I decided to duck into a café and wrap up the rest of my work on my laptop. The café I found was T Coffee, a café in Seongsu.

To get to T Coffee, a café for Seongsu office workers, you come into the building like this and go through the Pizza Slice entrance on basement level 1! T Coffee is tucked inside, behind Pizza Slice. The layout is unusual, so I went in half-wondering "is this really it...?" — but I really liked the atmosphere inside!

Why T Coffee was an easy place to pause in Seongsu-dong

Walking past Pizza Slice into the café behind it, the vibe felt calmer than I expected! The tables were spaced well apart and the overall atmosphere was really my style.

Inside, there were people quietly working, and Seongsu office workers dropping by for coffee too haha. The view from the window seats at the far end was especially pretty! The space didn't feel cramped, and the tables had enough room that it was comfortable to sit with a laptop out.

I ordered an iced latte and looked around slowly while waiting for my coffee — the calm overall mood of the café was really nice. I'm not a fan of cafés that play loud music, so this kind of natural, easygoing café atmosphere was so my thing!

After looking around the café, I picked out something from the menu...! True to the name T Coffee, there's a wide variety of tea options as well as coffee, so I thought next time I might order tea instead of coffee.

I ordered an iced latte this time, but true to the name T Coffee, I'd love to try the tea menu next time. There's matcha latte, oolong tea, vanilla chai tea, lemon ginger sparkling... every drink was exactly my type haha.

Every time I have a reason to go to Seongsu, I end up wondering where to take a break, and I think I spent a more comfortable time than expected at T Coffee, which I found by chance. For someone who needed a quiet café, it suited me pretty well!

If you're looking for a quiet café in Seongsu like I was, or a good café for laptop work in Seongsu, or just a Seongsu café that isn't too crowded, it's worth stopping by at least once. I think I'll come back the next time I have a reason to be in Seongsu — next time, instead of an iced latte, I'd like to order something from the tea menu and spend a bit more relaxed time there.

It was so hot that I just went with a simple iced latte, and it was genuinely satisfying. On a day when I want to slow down a bit in Seongsu, I think it'd be nice to order a warm tea and read a book instead. This time I was there for work so I kept working the whole time, but on my next visit, I'd like to just sit and relax without any work to do.
