Jamsil hair salon fringe perm and vegan fall-tone dye: Only For You
In short
Only For You Jamsilsaenae Branch is a hair salon on Baekjegobun-ro 7-gil near Jamsilsaenae Station in Songpa, Seoul. After a consultation with Designer Q, the visit covered a fringe cut, a fringe perm and a full head of vegan dye in a fall tone on the same day, with a crooked self-cut fringe reshaped into a rounded line to suit the face and a dark, red-free fall tone that also covered gray hairs. Even on a sensitive scalp there was no itching after the dye, and the overall look came out noticeably calmer.

Hair that's such a pain to maintain after just one dye job Even a little root growth looks messy fast And the ends kept getting lighter and lighter — so stressful Then I found a place that does customized styling for your face shape with gentle, vegan products?!

Who could resist going there~? The place we visited this time is Only For You, a hair salon in Jamsilsaenae
O: Oh, another day full of worry over this messy hair n: Now's the unavoidable time to make a clean change l: (loving) how Designer Q nailed a color with a real point of style — thank you! y: You can find the style that suits you, not just trends, at Only For You in Jamsilsaenae!
Only For You near Jamsilsaenae Station: what I asked for in the consultation
Only For You Jamsilsaenae Branch is on the 3rd floor of a building at 39 Baekjegobun-ro 7-gil, near Jamsilsaenae Station. Like walking down a runway toward the spotlight, this Jamsilsaenae hair salon sits at the end of a fun little walk, and I started my consultation with Designer Q full of anticipation about what new look I might get.
My hair before the visit: the self-cut fringe problem

- The color kept getting lighter only at the ends
- I don't like colors with a reddish tint
- Too big a gap between the scalp color and the ends
- My fringe had no curl at all and just fell flat

- My self-cut fringe line got completely messed up
- The front got longer than the side sections...
- I want a fall makeover too
- And I'm curious what style would actually suit me
Designer Q's plan for the fringe and the color

- A slightly rounded fringe line to match my face shape
- (with the sides a little longer)
- It's a bit short now, but the perm will add some length
- So don't cut too much, just clean up the line
- Spray protector on the sensitive scalp first
- Use a vegan product — noticeably less smell and alkaline than other dyes
- Go slightly darker to cover the gray hairs too

- Since my face has a slight red undertone, skip red-based colors
- Go with a dark tone that still gives off a subtle sense of sophistication — a fall tone
- My mid-face is on the longer side, so add volume around the middle when styling
Step 1: fringe cut and fringe perm
The first thing done at Only For You Jamsilsaenae Branch was fixing up my fringe with a cut and a perm. Since the perm has to happen before the dye, they started with the fringe. And so the transformation begins!

- Fringe cut and fringe perm
- Because I lost patience and cut it myself
- She fixed up the hopeless hairline I'd left behind

- Since the perm has to come before the dye
- The fringe got fixed up first

- Careful heat treatment, then a cooling step
- Only the fringe got a gentle rinse
Step 2: full-head fall-tone dye with vegan color
The dye process at Only For You Jamsilsaenae Branch started with a generous spray of scalp protector. Since the plan was to match everything to a dark overall tone, there was no need for a separate processing time gap between roots and ends.

- The dye begins
- She generously sprayed protector all over my sensitive scalp
- Since the plan was to match it all to a dark overall color

- No time gap between the roots and the ends
- She applied it so carefully, not missing a single spot
- Sometimes at other salons dye gets on your face by accident
- But there was none of that discomfort here — she was so gentle and precise
- And fast with her hands too

- Honestly I'm not someone who can sit still for long at a salon
- But Designer Q handled everything so efficiently!
- She also warned me ahead of time, "It might feel a little cold~"

- That let me mentally prepare myself
- "Just wait about 30 minutes."
- Hearing that exact number made the wait feel way less boring
- Since gray hairs are shorter
- They can stick out and not dye evenly
- So she even pressed them down carefully

To make the boring wait more bearable there was cool coffee + snack time~
Finishing up: massage chairs in the shampoo room
After the 30-minute dye wait, Designer Q checked that the color turned out well, then shampooed my hair. The shampoo room at Only For You Jamsilsaenae Branch has massage chairs, so both my scalp and my tense muscles got some relief at the same time.

- She checked the color turned out well
- And shampooed my hair
- But seriously, massage chairs in the shampoo room — is this real?
- Both my scalp and my tense muscles felt so relaxed
- She even cleaned up the spots where dye had slightly stained my hairline
- And when I finally faced the mirror again
Drumroll please!!!! Oh? Who is this??

I really felt all over again just how important hair color truly is! The change was so obvious the moment I looked in the mirror, my whole impression just turned calmer.

How did vegan dye feel on a sensitive scalp?
Maybe because it's a vegan product, I didn't really feel any itchiness on my scalp afterward. My scalp is genuinely sensitive, so this really surprised me. It even made my face look a bit brighter!!
I really, really loved how it turned out. On the way home I ended up taking selfies in every mirror I passed haha
If you want a seasonal image change, if you want healthier-looking hair for your scalp, if you want to find the style that actually suits your face — for all of you, with Designer Q at this Jamsilsaenae hair salon, I think you can picture a bright future full of selfies you'll want to take nonstop!
