Affordable Seomyeon pub, gizzard fry dipped in chicken stew: Yetnal
In short
Yetnal Tongdak & Tang Seomyeon Branch is a fried chicken and dakdoritang (spicy braised chicken stew) pub in the 2-beonga food alley by Exit 6 of Seomyeon Station, Busanjin, Busan. The writer ordered the ttongjip-en-tang set (dakdoritang plus fried gizzards) with two bowls of rice and a cider, and found the stew packed with glass noodles, rice cakes and quail eggs, with the mild fried gizzards best dipped straight into the spicy broth. Open daily until 5:30am with group seating, Yetnal Tongdak & Tang works well for a Seomyeon work dinner or a second-round drinking spot.

Yesterday I went to Yetnal Tongdak & Tang, a Seomyeon fried chicken spot where you can eat well without breaking the bank. It's the kind of place where you can dig into a huge spread of chicken dishes — dakdoritang (spicy braised chicken stew), old-style whole fried chicken, gizzard fry, regular fried chicken, tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) and more. It's great for work dinners, group get-togethers, or just a cheap-and-good Seomyeon drinking spot. Here's my honest review ⬇️

Yetnal Tongdak & Tang Seomyeon Branch is close to Exit 6 of Seomyeon Station, sitting right in the 2-beonga food alley, so it's super convenient whether you're stopping in for round one or round two of drinks in Seomyeon.

Inside the Seomyeon pub: atmosphere and group seating
Inside, Yetnal Tongdak & Tang Seomyeon Branch has that old-school pub feel with warm wood-tone interiors — really cozy.

Most seats are 4-person tables, but there's a group section on one side too, with tables you can push together — great for a company dinner or a bigger gathering.

Menu: the three en-tang sets and the review event
This Seomyeon fried chicken spot has three great-value combo sets — en-tang (stew + whole fried chicken), sunsal-en-tang (stew + boneless fried chicken), and ttongjip-en-tang (stew + fried gizzards) — plus a full lineup of fried chicken dishes, stews, fruit plates and sides. Perfect if you're craving chicken or dakdoritang, or just looking for a budget-friendly Seomyeon pub.

They're currently running a review event where you get free fries or a drink, plus a nostalgic dalgona (honeycomb candy) game — win it (with a review) and score a free gizzard fry.

We ordered the ttongjip-en-tang, two bowls of rice, and a cider ✔️

Side dishes were cabbage salad, pickled radish, and shrimp roe chips.

The dakdoritang: glass noodles, rice cakes and quail eggs
First off, doesn't the dakdoritang look amazing? ❤️ It comes fully cooked and ready to eat, and if it starts to cool down they'll pop it back on the burner so it stays warm the whole time.

You can add extra noodle toppings to the stew, but even without ordering extra, it already came loaded with glass noodles.

And so much big chunky chicken!!! You can pay an extra ₩2,000 to switch to boneless, but we like bones, so we stuck with bone-in haha.

You can't have a spicy, rich dakdoritang broth without rice 🤍 Soak the sweet-spicy broth into a bowl of rice and eat it with the meat — you'll seriously demolish a whole bowl in no time.

There were also plenty of long rice cakes in there, so soft and chewy, soaked through with the sauce — really delicious.

Loads of scallions and quail eggs too 🤍

Above all, the slightly spicy, punchy broth was genuinely delicious, and there was so much meat that the portion would easily be enough for three people.

How to eat the fried gizzards: dip them in the stew broth
The gizzard fry came out golden and crispy, still tasting fresh, and fried without any greasiness — really light. The smell alone was incredible 🤍

Crispy on the outside, with that chewy, crunchy bite on the inside — the texture was insane!! Delicious even plain, light and nutty,

but dip it in salt or chili mayo sauce and the flavor doubles ❤️

My boyfriend, who really knows his food, taught me this one: dip the gizzard fry straight into the spicy dakdoritang broth. The crispiness and the spice come together perfectly — a special side dish you'll never get tired of :)

Is Yetnal Tongdak & Tang worth it for a Seomyeon work dinner or second round?
From the rich, spicy dakdoritang to the crispy gizzard fry, everything was satisfying at this Seomyeon fried chicken spot. They use 100% domestic Harim chicken, and the price is reasonable given the generous portions, so it's genuinely good value. If you're looking for a budget-friendly Seomyeon pub, or a spot for a Seomyeon work dinner or group gathering, definitely give Yetnal Tongdak & Tang a try 🤍
