A brunch spot worth knowing in Baekhyeon-dong, Pangyo: Meolmeol

Weekday brunch reservation at Meolmeol Pangyo on the Baekhyeon-dong café street
I was looking for somewhere to have brunch with my cousin in Pangyo and ended up at Meolmeol Pangyo, on the Baekhyeon-dong café street. Since reservations were possible, I booked ahead — and going on a weekday made it even nicer since it was quiet. I think booking ahead would be even more worth it on weekends.
I'd heard for a while that the vibe here was great, and once I actually went, the sunlight pouring into the space really did put me in a good mood the whole meal. We ordered lasagna and pasta for lunch, and the dishes looked beautiful and came out warm — it was a properly healing spot I hadn't had in a while. Especially recommended if you're looking for a good brunch place on the Baekhyeon-dong café street!!

Where is Meolmeol Pangyo, and where do you park?
Meolmeol is tucked inside the Baekhyeon-dong café street, so it's a good spot for a meal followed by a stroll.
- Parking: 1 hour supported at the Baekhyeon-dong public parking lot for the café street
- Make sure to bring your store receipt

What is the space like inside Meolmeol Pangyo?
The first thing I noticed walking into Meolmeol Pangyo was the warm atmosphere. Sunlight streaming in through the big windows made the space feel so much cozier!! I wanted to relax over some Western food, and since the space was so pretty, all of us ended up happy.
White tones and wood tones blend well, so photos come out pretty and you really feel the brunch mood~!! It wasn't a loud atmosphere either, so it was easy to talk, which made it nice for a family lunch too.

There's terrace seating too, and I thought eating outside would be really nice during the seasons with good weather.

What we ordered at Meolmeol Pangyo, and the prices
We ordered three things. Since we came for Western food, we got one pasta, and we also tried the lasagna, which is apparently their signature dish.

- Grandma's Lasagna ₩23,000
- White Truffle Cream Pasta ₩23,000
- Raspberry Endive Salad ₩19,000

Raspberry Endive Salad, 19,000 won
The salad combined raspberry Greek yogurt, peach, jamón, and endive, and the refreshing flavor went really well with the cream pasta. The portion was bigger than expected too, so it was great to share.
The raspberry salad's mix of sweet fruit and salty jamón made it nice to pick at between bites.

White Truffle Cream Pasta, 23,000 won
A pasta so good I already want to order it again next time... it's a cream pasta with mushrooms mixed in, which was totally my style since I love mushrooms!

The white truffle cream pasta exceeded expectations too! It was so good!! The truffle aroma wasn't overpowering, spreading out subtly so the cream never felt heavy, and the sauce coated the noodles so well I kept going back for more.

Grandma's Lasagna, 23,000 won
The most memorable was Grandma's Lasagna!! It came out warm as if straight from the oven, piled high with cheese, and I loved it from the very first bite.

The inside was moist too, so I enjoyed it all the way through. The bread that came with it was delicious dipped in the lasagna sauce, and it was just as good dipped in our cream pasta sauce.

Complimentary americano and bingsu to finish
We were chatting away, thinking we'd spend a bit more time there, when they gave us something on the house. Going to a separate café afterward would have been an awkward use of time, and here they gave us coffee, no less. Hahaha.

Maybe because we ate so happily, haha, they brought out an americano and bingsu, letting us enjoy the whole meal on a high note right to the end.

Is Meolmeol Pangyo worth a return visit?
It's not just a good-vibes brunch place — the food quality held up too, so I'm planning to go again! If you're deciding on brunch or lunch on the Baekhyeon-dong café street, I'd recommend Meolmeol. :> Being able to reserve cut down on the wait, and it's just right for enjoying lasagna and pasta unhurried in such a pretty space! Next time I want to sit on the terrace and enjoy brunch there once more.
