On a weekday morning, I went solo to enjoy a relaxed brunch at Eight Years, a well-known brunch spot on the Baekhyeon-dong café street in Pangyo. It's a place that's popular by word of mouth among Pangyo locals, and I heard they use ingredients sourced directly from Garak Market, so I went in with high expectations!
In this post, I've packed in honest reviews of Eight Years' signature menu items along with all the practical info — location, parking, menu prices, and hours — so if you've been curious, stick around to the end!
Where is Eight Years Pangyo, and where do you park?

Eight Years is located on the Baekhyeon-dong café street. There are lots of cafés and restaurants nearby, so it's great for exploring together.
- Address: 12 Pangyoyeok-ro 2beon-gil, Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, 1F
- Parking: beside or in front of the store, or Baekhyeon-dong café street public parking lot, 1 hour free
- Hours: Tue–Sun 9am–5pm, last order 3pm, closed Mondays
- Pet-friendly: terrace only
It's a 10–15 minute walk from Suneo Station or Pangyo Station, so it's nice to stroll over.

There is a parking lot beside the store, but it's small, so I comfortably parked at the Baekhyeon-dong café street public parking lot instead.

If you bring your receipt, you get 1 hour discounted, and it's genuinely a 1-minute walk from the public lot to the store!
Inside Eight Years Pangyo: interior and terrace seats

Inside Eight Years, the bright white tones and green plants scattered around created a comfortable vibe. The soft natural light coming through the windows made it feel as cozy as a café.

You order at a kiosk, and I noticed jalapeños available in the self-service zone.

There were also baby chairs, so it looked great for families too. I sat indoors that day, but the outdoor terrace looked so pretty!

Big parasols, rattan chairs, and a walking path stretching out in front all added up to a really great atmosphere. Terrace seats aren't reservable — you just grab one when you arrive — so next time I definitely want to enjoy brunch out there.

Since I'd made a reservation, they marked my table with a blue memo board. It felt kind of nice, like being given special treatment.

I ordered three things that day: the avocado chicken ciabatta sandwich, the lemon salad short pasta, and a Pink Breeze! They said they'll cut the sandwich into pieces if you want, so it's good for sharing too.
Eight Years uses fresh ingredients brought in directly from Garak Market, and they say the ciabatta is made without preservatives. Maybe that's why the sandwich felt more trustworthy.

The Americano is ₩3,000 and refillable, and if you take part in a review event they'll give you garlic baguette or snacks. I left a receipt review and got a cookie in return — it wasn't hard, and it was delicious~

I got a bit greedy with my order and the portions were way too much, so I packed the leftover sandwich to go, haha. They also have bread menu items like bagels and honey bread, so I'd love to come back and try those too.
How do the lemon salad short pasta and avocado chicken sandwich taste?

The lemon salad short pasta portion was bigger than I expected.

Make sure to squeeze the lemon before eating! Just the aroma rising up bright and zesty instantly lifts your mood.

Every bite was so refreshing that my fork kept going back for more.

The avocado chicken ciabatta sandwich has a healthy, light flavor — the sauce isn't overpowering.

It wasn't heavy or strongly seasoned, so it went down easily. The portion was generous enough that I couldn't finish it alone — a really filling meal.
Lastly, the Pink Breeze was pure healing just to look at. The pretty pink color brightened up the whole table. Pretty to look at and good to taste too — I was glad I ordered it, haha.
Is Eight Years Pangyo worth it for solo brunch?

If you're walking around the Baekhyeon-dong café street looking for a great-atmosphere Pangyo brunch spot, I confidently recommend Eight Years! It was great for a quiet solo brunch, and the portions were generous enough for a filling meal.
The atmosphere is emotional and cozy, so it'd suit alone time, catching up with a friend, or a family meal out equally well. Eight Years says they use championship-roasted beans and have an experienced barista pulling the coffee, so the drinks have me curious too.
Next time, I want to take my time enjoying pasta and coffee out on that pretty terrace.
