I recommend Resting07, a great-atmosphere, great-value pasta restaurant in Dongseong-ro, Daegu! It's right in the heart of Dongseong-ro, so it's an easy stop while shopping or on a date. The menu is varied but not pricey, so I was excited before I even walked in.

The atmosphere: window seats and a room

Resting07 is on the 2nd floor. After climbing the stairs and stepping inside, you'll find tables of different sizes arranged so groups of various sizes can eat comfortably.

The seats by the floor-to-ceiling windows especially were full of sunlight, and the mood was really lovely 💛 If you visit in the daytime, the natural light streams in beautifully, making it great for photos and giving off a warm, bright feel. ✨Recommended as a Dongseong-ro date spot✨

There's also a separate room-style space on one side, which looked good for those wanting a quieter meal or a spot for a gathering.

Pork rice pilaf ₩13,700 — best value for money

The food arrived 😋🤤 I started with the pork rice pilaf. Personally, this was one of the dishes I was most satisfied with for the price. The rice was stir-fried until fluffy and light, with a subtle toasted aroma still lingering.

The pork was cut into fairly big chunks, which paired well with the rice and was so tender 👍🏻 Ordering one pilaf to share made the whole meal feel much more filling. If several of you are going, I'd really recommend adding one pilaf to share 💛

Quattro formaggi pizza ₩17,700 — cheesy flavor and thin crust

And then the quattro formaggi pizza! If you love cheese, this one should really satisfy you. 😋🤤 With the first bite, the rich, savory flavor of several different cheeses comes through strongly, and each cheese has a slightly different taste, which made it delicious.

The crust was thin, and personally, eating it alongside the roe cream pasta made the savory flavors flow naturally into each other — the combination worked especially well. Alternating a bite of pasta with a slice of pizza, I was glad we'd ordered several different dishes!

With the first bite you taste the creamy richness first, then the distinctive salty umami of the roe rises up right after — such a great pairing! Thanks to the roe, the flavor wasn't one-note, and it stayed enjoyable to the last bite without getting tiring 👍🏻

The sauce was well soaked into the noodles too, so every bite had flavor, never bland. If you like cream pasta, this is a safe pick you'll likely be satisfied with 💛
