Getting to Sailing Paradise and parking

Sailing Paradise is about a three-minute walk from the 63 Building and around a 15-minute walk from Exit 3 of Yeouinaru Station, so it is easy enough to reach by public transport too.

If you are driving, you can use the Han River public parking lot, but when I visited on the weekend, it was completely full.

So I hurriedly parked at the 63 Building parking lot right across the street, which was totally empty and similarly priced! The first hour was free, then it was ₩2,000 per 30 minutes, so I parked for about two hours for around ₩4,000!

To find Sailing Paradise, enter Yeouido Hangang Park at the “duck boat ride” area, keep Emart24 on your left, and turn right—you will spot it easily.

We arrived with plenty of time, 15 minutes before departure, met the captain inside the Korea Maritime Education Association building, and filled out the passenger list.

There is also a restaurant right in front of the boarding dock, where lots of people were having chicken or pizza with a Han River view! Having a meal before or after the yacht ride would make for such a romantic itinerary!

Romantic Yacht Tour program and price

Sailing Paradise offers a variety of yachts for different group sizes and purposes. It works for everything from small dates to group events, and its sunset tours and night-view cruises are said to be particularly popular.

The program I took was the one-hour Yeouido Romantic Yacht Tour experience ticket. The regular price is ₩50,000, but it was available as a public experience for ₩30,000 on weekends!

Welcome wine and snacks were included too! Private yacht tours are already great, but with wine as well—the romance was seriously unreal...! We visited for Couples’ Day, and it was such a good-value setup for an anniversary date.

Discounts and minimum passenger numbers to check before booking

Reservations are essential for Sailing Paradise’s Romantic Yacht Tour! I looked around a little, and the price differed by site. On Naver, it was ₩30,000 for adults and ₩18,000 for children on both weekdays and weekends.

Yanolja was ₩5,000 cheaper on weekdays. If you are going on a weekday, booking through Yanolja is a better deal, so make sure to get even a little discount~

The Yeouido Han River Romantic Yacht Tour departs on the hour, and I booked the 6 p.m. slot to see the sunset. The tour can be canceled if the minimum number of passengers is not met, and they said they would let you know separately two days beforehand! Luckily, the minimum of five passengers was met, so I could board!

The Yeouido Han River Romantic Yacht Tour boards the Humin catamaran! It can take up to 12 people. The inside was clean, and it even had a restroom, so it was very comfortable.

You can freely use both the front and back of the yacht, and there was plenty of room to take photos and relax!

There was even a bubble machine on the yacht, which made it so easy to get pretty photos!

The route follows the Han River for an hour, and because the weather was nice, I could see Namsan Tower and take in the 63 Building and Yeouido all at once. The captain explained things too, which made sightseeing even more fun. This is what Yeouido looks like from the Han River!

They helped me try steering the yacht myself, and it was fun in a totally different way from driving a car! Once we were out on the Han River, the city view opened up and felt much more refreshing than I expected, and enjoying it with wine was just wonderful!

Han River sunset time recommended for anniversaries

The real highlight was definitely sunset—the colors in the sky were incredible. It was breathtaking even on video, but I could not stop admiring it in person! I absolutely recommend boarding at sunset! Feeling the breeze while watching the Seoul sunset from the Han River was so healing that it made me want to come back for every anniversary.

Along with the sunset and skyline, we watched the subway pass by and admired the impressive bridges—it was completely healing! Sailing Paradise was a wonderful place to make special memories in central Seoul. The captain was also so good at taking photos, so my husband and I got loads of life-best shots!
