Super Waxing Gangnam sits near Gangnam Station Exit 11, which makes it a goldmine location for someone like me who works in the area.

I walked in and was honestly surprised — a waxing shop with this warm an atmosphere?

The space is decorated in such a cute, detailed way it felt almost like an Airbnb.

Since it was my first visit to Super Waxing Gangnam, I filled out a simple waxing consent form first, then was shown to a room.

I loved that there were so many mirrors of different sizes, and the air purifier made it feel like all that dusty Gangnam air outside was getting filtered away 💺 The sofa was so plush too.

Super Waxing Gangnam is one of the few waxing shops near Gangnam Station that can do simultaneous waxing for couples or pairs, so a bed and a skirt to change into were neatly prepared. There was even a cute stuffed doll to hug during the waxing.

They swept the line in quickly and neatly,

and my hairline came out super clean and neat.

What changed after the hairline waxing at Super Waxing Gangnam

I usually only tie my hair back at home and never go out with it up, but I liked my hairline so much afterward that I've been wearing my hair tied back ever since. Genuinely, 100 percent.

Why eyebrow waxing wasn't possible, and the same-day rebooking

For me, a huge plus is that the treatment finishes fast. I couldn't get eyebrow waxing since I'd already removed the hair there, so I booked a return visit for once my brows grow back in. The fact that I could even come during my company lunch break and it'd be totally doable — this quick and this precise! A true waxing master.

Lastly, they were thoughtful enough to carefully go over the aftercare instructions too!

And just like that, quick and speedy, done and home :) This was my first waxing ever, and I regretted not trying it sooner. It's wild how much prettier and cleaner a single waxing session can make you look — though of course, that's just my own satisfaction talking.
