Why red tattoo remnants sent me searching all over Daejeon, Sejong and Chungcheong

I've been getting brow tattoos since my early twenties. I think I've had four or five by now, and whether it's because they were done so long ago or just done poorly, red scarring was left behind. (Genuinely couldn't stand looking at it.)

When you have scarring like this, only a truly skilled shop can even take you on — otherwise it can end up looking even more awkward. So I searched all over Sejong, Daejeon, Chungnam, and Chungbuk. (I basically became a brow tattoo scholar at this point.) And the place this picky person landed on was "Robl Beauty," a brow tattoo spot in Doan-dong, Daejeon.

The interior is spacious and clean, and there's even a spot to wait with a cup of coffee.

On the way to the treatment room, I saw the director's taste and honestly, so cute haha haha. She must really love Hello Kitty haha. The blanket on the bed was so soft haha, it practically lulls you to sleep.

There's even a restroom inside the shop, which was convenient.

The combo brow process, from numbing cream to final shading

After applying numbing cream, about 20 minutes later I sat down and the director started designing my brows based on my brow shape and face shape! Everyone's doing thin brows these days, and I wanted that too — since I had severe scarring, I didn't mind if the shape came out a little wider up or down (concealer can fix that), and overall I wanted a longer semi-arch shape rather than a straight line.

Once the design was finished, the treatment started! Since my scarring was pretty severe, natural brows wouldn't cut it, so we went with combo brows! The front kept a hair-stroke texture, and from the middle to the tail she filled it in densely.

Before and after: how well did the combo brows cover the red scarring?

This is what it looked like before the treatment — looks like a badly drawn brow shape in light brown, right? But this wasn't drawn on at all — this is literally bare face, and the scarring just naturally looked like this haha haha haha.

This is right after the treatment finished! Wow... I genuinely got chills. Exactly the thickness, color, and length I wanted, plus full scar coverage. My scarring was on the thicker side, but it got redesigned into this slim shape. It'll get even thinner and more natural once the skin flakes off over time, but honestly, I loved even this right-after-treatment look so, so, so, so much.

When I like something, obviously I have to take pictures?! Pulled my hair all the way back so the brows would show as clearly as possible?! haha.

Out of the brow tattoos I've gotten over the past decade or so, this was hands down the best.

I prepared a close-up comparison shot to show the stark difference. The messy, blunt brow line is now slim and drawn out cleanly haha haha haha. I was so, so happy that day 💕 And I'd braced myself for some scarring to still peek out, but she covered it so precisely that I don't need to touch it up at all when doing my makeup.

When should you retouch, and how was the artist's service?

Since I love it this much, of course I'm going back for a retouch — to keep it looking good longer, retouching is a must haha. I asked the director when I should come back for the retouch, since I definitely plan to. She told me within 2 months after the treatment is best!

The director was so kind and warm! I'm a pretty extreme introvert type, so I'm very affected by the other person's vibe — and for treatments that take over an hour, if the director's personality doesn't click with mine, the whole session can feel exhausting. But she was calm and kind, gave sincere advice without overdoing it, and the whole time felt comfortable. Combined with results this perfect, there's no way I'm not going back.
