The parking spaces are neatly laid out, so access is good even on weekends or during peak times. You don't need to register your car with the restaurant either — you can just drive in and out, which was really convenient.

Weekend lunch wait and the restaurant's atmosphere

We visited on a weekend lunch! There was no wait, but the place seemed to have a steady stream of customers the whole time.

The inside is clean with a warm wood-tone interior 😍 Tables are spaced generously apart and everything is kept tidy, so it felt comfortable. Overall the vibe is bright and relaxed, great for a date or for a family meal with kids too.

Wow, I was surprised at just how many items are on the menu. They serve a wide range of dishes made with broth deeply simmered in a cauldron and noodles made fresh in-house — signature jjolmyeon, noodle soup, udon, buckwheat noodles, all the way to filling bibimbap and pork cutlet sets! The great value means there's something for everyone, regardless of age or taste, +_+

What we ordered that day was the fresh noodle soup set, spicy bibim jjolmyeon (level 1), a plain fresh noodle soup, and a side of vegetable-topped flat dumplings!

The crispy fried flat dumplings come in a set of 8 — there's nothing fancy inside, but somehow they're so addictive and delicious.. hahaha!! 💗👍🏻

Wrapping the savory, crispy dumplings with the vegetable topping is so good~~🤭

It was also great dipped in the jjolmyeon sauce, or eaten alongside the warm broth of the fresh noodle soup!

Being handmade, the chewiness and springiness of the noodles are on a completely different level..!!!

The soup is topped with fried tofu skin and fragrant crown daisy, and the cauldron broth has a deep, clean, savory flavor without being heavy..😍 And this is ₩8,500? Really great value, I think.

Strongly recommend this to anyone who prefers a mild, unassuming savory flavor rather than something intense!

Spicy bibim jjolmyeon level 1 — how spicy is it really?

For jjolmyeon you can choose between regular and spicy, and the spicy version comes in levels 1, 2, and 3!

Carrots, bean sprouts, cucumber, cabbage, red cabbage, carrots again — loaded with vegetables, right? Jjolmyeon tastes great, but I also like that you get to eat this much vegetable alongside it!

Even though I picked the lowest spice level, level 1, I was surprised by how heavily the spiciness hit from the very first bite.

It was addictively spicy so I finished it happily, but it really is sweat-inducingly hot, so anyone sensitive to spice should be careful!

Fresh noodle soup set (noodle soup + pork cutlet)

The fresh noodle soup set pairs the noodle soup with pork cutlet. The noodle soup is delicious as expected, and the cutlet is crispy outside with really tender meat — a perfect match with the noodles!

It's a classic crispy-outside, tender-inside loin cutlet, so this feels like a great Suji Seongbok-dong restaurant to visit with kids too 😊
