Yeongdeungpo yacht cruise with extra sailing: Sailing Paradise
In short
Sailing Paradise is a sailing-yacht experience at Yeouido Hangang Park in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul. I boarded the Mermaid at 6 PM, added a cruise, and spent private time with wine after taking in the sunset and Han River night views. Verdict: A lovely way to make an anniversary feel special.

This time, I properly celebrated our anniversary with a Han River yacht-tour date. We boarded at sunset, took a lap around the Han River, then had a glass of wine in private—it was such a mood-lifting, memorable day.
Getting to Sailing Paradise

If you're driving, Sailing Paradise is closest to Yeouido Parking Lot 1. By public transit, come out of Exit 3 at Yeouinaru Station, walk straight ahead, and enter Yeouido Hangang Park.

You'll see places selling all sorts of food and the duck-boat area. Head that way, then turn right and you'll find where to board the yacht.

Further inside, I found the office and filled out a simple boarding form. It asked for things like my name, date of birth, and contact information, presumably for emergencies. The yacht my boyfriend and I would be taking was a sailing yacht called the Mermaid. The name was cute, like The Little Mermaid, haha.

After a brief explanation, we headed straight over to board. Listening to the owner along the way, I realized there were so many different types of yachts. He apparently owns as many as 15 yachts, which was pretty amazing.
Boarding at sunset

I deliberately booked our ride for sunset. At the time of my visit, our reservation was for 6 PM, but the days are getting longer now that it's summer, so I think anyone who wants to board at sunset should definitely check the sunset time!

I also had a look around inside the yacht. It was so interesting that there were plenty of sofa seats and even a restroom onboard. There was a space inside where you could lie down, too. It felt cozy, and if the weather happened to be chilly, it seemed like you could go inside and chat.
What was cruising on the Han River like?

Since we were visiting for our anniversary, we paid an additional fee to cruise as well. I think the charm of this sailing yacht was that sail. Once the sail was unfurled, the feeling really came alive and it became even more atmospheric!

The captain could control it, of course, but it felt faster than I expected, and speeding across the Han River felt so good. The weather was just right—really cool and refreshing. There were other yachts and jet skis going by, so there was plenty to look at, and while enjoying the surrounding scenery, Seoul's night view looked newly beautiful to me.

Since it was our anniversary, my boyfriend had prepared flowers and a cake in advance, and they looked so pretty photographed with the shimmering sunlight on the water. The sunset was beautiful just to look at, so even quick snaps easily turned into atmospheric, once-in-a-lifetime shots. Between eagerly taking photos, listening to the captain's explanations, and looking around, the cruising time flew by.
Private time after the cruise

After the yacht cruise, we could have private time, and it was even better because they lent us a Bluetooth speaker. Thanks to that, we could cozily catch up on all the things we hadn't finished talking about. I'd never properly celebrated an anniversary like this before, but after going all out this time, I think romantic days like these are special and really nice, haha.
An anniversary spent on a Han River yacht

I'd only taken a sightseeing cruise on the Han River before, so this was my first time boarding a yacht. Thanks to that, we enjoyed a proper Han River yacht-tour date and our anniversary became even more special. For reservations and detailed cruise programs, I think it would be helpful to check the official blog run by the owner.
The owner was also incredibly kind, so we could enjoy ourselves comfortably, and having private time as well made it two benefits in one. We really celebrated our anniversary properly with this Han River yacht-tour date ♥
