The sun was so strong this summer that my hair felt really frizzy and damaged, so I went looking for a Haeundae Jung-dong hair salon good at hair clinics and got the Hoyu clinic at Drapore Haeundae Jung-dong Branch ✨ Maybe because it's a trendy new offshoot of Lee Kyung-min Pore in Cheongdam-dong, but the results totally satisfied me!!

Drapore Haeundae Jung-dong Branch is on the 1st floor of Central Medi Tower, 505 Jwadong-sunhwan-ro, Haeundae-gu, Busan. It's open daily 10:00–19:00, and free parking is available in the building's underground lot.

Drapore Jung-dong is right next to E-Mart at Jung-dong Station Exit 7, so it's really easy to get to. The salon has a clean, sleek interior, and being appointment-only meant I could get my hair done quietly — I liked that.

I booked with stylist Yul! Before the clinic, they check your hair condition first — this Jung-dong Station hair salon has so many clinic types that you can choose one suited to your own hair condition, which I liked :) I decided on the Hoyu clinic since it's known for good value versus effect and how long it lasts.

The Hoyu clinic step by step: shampoo-room cleanse to steamer

First, in the shampoo room they clear out impurities from hair and scalp with Hoyu shampoo~ The head wash felt so refreshing it was honestly healing! Getting a clinic treatment feels like a little break too, which was a nice mood-lift in the middle of a busy day!

The Hoyu clinic proper uses a total of two clinic products for the treatment. After the first application, you wait about 15 minutes under a steamer~ They told me the Hoyu clinic suits people like me whose hair has gotten dry from frequent dyeing and blow-drying, or whose ends feel frizzy ⭐️

During the Hoyu clinic at this Drapore Haeundae Jung-dong hair salon, while waiting 10 minutes under the steamer they bring drinks and snacks ☕️🍪 Snacking and scrolling my phone and the time flew by, haha. Even during the clinic, they explained about my hair condition and how to take care of it, so I learned how I should be managing my hair day-to-day.

They applied the clinic product evenly across all my hair and carefully made sure it absorbed well, taking extra care especially with the ends where the damage felt worst. One clinic session won't turn damaged hair completely into brand-new hair, but if you're struggling with dry, frizzy hair like me, I really think it's worth trying once ⭐️

Last was a light scalp massage and treatment in the shampoo room :) It was relaxing enough to almost put me to sleep, haha.

How dry summer hair felt after the blow-dry

When I dried my hair, the first thing I noticed was the texture — running my hand through it, it felt much smoother and softer than before 🫧 The frizzy, puffed-up look was noticeably calmer, and there was less tangling too, so combing was definitely easier, haha. Hair is visible every day like your face, but once it's damaged it's not easy to manage ㅠㅠ After this Hoyu clinic, I felt like I should really pay more attention to taking care of my hair going forward.
