I've wanted to check out Meolmeol Pangyo, a brunch spot I keep hearing about, for ages. Finally made the trip — and it was perfect for a wedding invitation gathering, a simple brunch, or even a full meal. Here's my review!
Location and hours of Meolmeol Pangyo, a Baekhyeon-dong brunch café

📍 6 Pangyoyeok-ro 2beon-gil, 1st floor, Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea ⏰ Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu 10:00 AM – 6:50 PM (last order 6:00 PM) Fri/Sat/Sun 10:00 AM – 8:50 PM (last order 8:00 PM) 🚘 Parking at the public parking lot! (parking support available)
I'd been really curious about Meolmeol Pangyo for a long time, so I finally picked a day to go... and I was so surprised by how many people were there. Turns out it's super popular, haha!!!!!!!!

You can book through Catch Table or Naver Reservations.

Good for wedding invitation gatherings — what are the seats like?
The interior is decorated in such a cute, detailed way, and it's really well suited to wedding invitation meetups too 💍 There was plenty of extra space with 2-seat and 4-seat tables. I don't think they have baby chairs, but there was a wide-open spot for parking a stroller. If you're coming with a baby, I'd recommend noting that in the memo field when you book through Naver — they'll seat you accordingly :)
After they showed us to our table, they brought cold water. As an ice-water lover, a glass packed with ice is exactly the kind of thoughtful touch that wins my heart.

Reunited with duzzon cookie for ₩3,500
Looking at the menu, I spotted duzzon cookie — a dessert I hadn't seen in a while >.< I wanted it so badly I had to order one. And only ₩3,500? So cheap! I was full of expectations for this long-awaited duzzon cookie!

What we ordered and the prices
- Raspberry endive salad — ₩19,000
- Spicy lemon anchovy pasta — ₩23,000
- Truffle baby potatoes — ₩9,000
We started with these three. The raspberry endive salad had raspberries scattered throughout, and the combo of yogurt, endive, jamón, and doughnut peach was genuinely the best ㅠㅠㅠ I kept saying 'is it even allowed to be this refreshing' — from the very first bite, the intensity had me raving nonstop.

The signature: truffle baby potatoes
Truffle baby potatoes are Meolmeol Pangyo's signature dish... you can't skip ordering this ㅠㅠ The garlic butter sauce on top paired with the crispy fried potatoes made every single bite a fresh round of amazement.

I kept thinking, is it really okay for something to be this refreshing and delicious... and we scraped up every bit of the leftover sauces at the end, so that says it all. The freshness and brightness were the best part.

Spicy lemon anchovy pasta
A pasta with a spicy, salty flavor that you just keep craving... an addictive kind of dish. I ordered it because I wanted pasta, and it turned out the three dishes I picked made an amazing combo together >.<

Orange juice and decaf americano
The orange juice is freshly squeezed with real pulp, and the decaf americano is an essential brunch pairing... ♥️ Meolmeol Pangyo is the best.

Meolmeol Pangyo, will I go back?
It was so delicious... honestly the brunch spot I've liked the most out of everywhere I've eaten lately. The staff were super kind, too, and with the taste and atmosphere both on point, there's no reason not to come back.

Honestly every dish was so good that I'm curious about the rest of the menu now. Definitely try the delicious brunch at Meolmeol Pangyo — and the duzzon cookie too >.< If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely stop by. Highly recommend.
