I found it while searching for a Bucheon Sinjung-dong bakery — apparently it's Bon IF's milk bread specialty bakery cafe brand, spinning off the milk bread that was already popular at Easy Brewing Coffee into its own independent brand. Walking in, I could smell that distinct freshly baked bread aroma, which put me in a good mood haha.

What also caught my eye was the use of good ingredients, like AOP-certified French butter and dairy cream. It felt like they really thought about the ingredients and recipe to make milk bread where you can properly taste the buttery flavor and moist texture, rather than just soft bread for the sake of it.

Cutting it in half, the crumb looked incredibly soft. Toasting it like regular sliced bread is also nice, but first I tried tasting the bread itself with nothing on it.

The texture was definitely moist and soft, with a subtle buttery aroma coming through. It wasn't aggressively sweet, so it seemed like something you could easily eat with coffee in the morning without feeling weighed down. Personally, I don't reach for sliced bread when it's dry, but this one had that moist quality that made it delicious just torn apart and eaten plain.

The spreads I picked at Easy White Bread were the honey fig cream cheese and blueberry cream cheese, 30g each at 1,500 won. The milk bread is delicious on its own, but since there were spreads to pair with it, I gave them a try.

How the bread and cream cheeses actually tasted

This time at Easy White Bread Bucheon Sinjung-dong I tried the Golden Beurre Milk Bread + brewing coffee + honey fig cream cheese + blueberry cream cheese together, and overall I was satisfied. Above all, the milk bread itself was moist and soft, so I could taste the bread's own flavor without needing to pile on a lot of extras.

On top of that, switching between the different cream cheeses meant the same bread tasted different each time, so it never got boring. If you're looking for a Sinjung-dong cafe that offers more than just coffee — somewhere with genuinely good bread too — this place would suit you well. Especially if you love freshly baked milk bread, it's worth a visit at least once!
