Suwon pizza place with a 6pm Wednesday wait and window seats: Low Five
In short
Low Five is a pizza and Italian restaurant in a converted house on Sinpung-ro in Haenggung-dong, Suwon. Low Five was already full at 6pm on a Wednesday, but the wait was under 10 minutes to a window table with floor-to-ceiling glass, where the meal was a classic Caesar salad, Alfredo cream pasta, and a corn and pepperoni half-and-half pizza. Three dishes are plenty for two people, and the setting makes Low Five an easy date pick in Haenggung-dong.

While looking for a date spot after work on a weekday, I discovered Low Five, famous as a Haenggung-dong pizza restaurant. It's a restaurant converted from a house and the vibe is so emotional, gorgeous!! There's no separate parking lot, but it's very close to Seongyeong Library parking lot, so I'd recommend parking there!
When we came out at night after eating, the place still looked so pretty that I snapped a shot~~~~ Really great to visit when you want to set a mood for a date.

How long is the wait at Low Five at 6pm on a Wednesday?
I arrived at Low Five at 6pm on a Wednesday and it was already full with a waitlist!!! Things eased up after 7pm! On weekends or peak times you should be prepared to wait — this place is that good👍👍
This is the space in front of the restaurant, with a wood-toned interior that gives off a warm vibe. You wait here while your name's called.

Inside Low Five: the floor-to-ceiling window seats are the best spot
Coming inside, the window seats and sofa seats stand out in the spacious layout. Even with all these seats, it's full🫢🫢 Still, thankfully we got in within 10 minutes:)

This window seat overlooking the terrace is the prettiest! Would be great for a first date too haha. Having a blind date in a fairy-tale-like space~~nice!
The view from the full-glass window seat is cozy and lovely, so that's the seat I chose. The overall wood-toned interior gives a really warm feeling:)

There's even an aesthetic self-serve bar>< Maybe because it's a Haenggung-dong pizza restaurant, hot sauce and grated cheese are generously set up.

I've been to Haenggung-dong so often and didn't know about this place! Turns out I was the only one who didn't know this famous restaurant lol. But now that I've eaten here, I get why it's famous!
What's on the menu at Low Five
Now let's look at the delicious Italian menu.

The best-seller is of course pizza! I'm a pizza lover so I was so excited. There are two kinds, corn and pepperoni, and you can also get a half-and-half mix, which is great!

There's also a variety of pasta menus, including classic lasagna, vongole, and cream pasta~~

They also have two kinds of the famous gimbokkeumbap (fried rice with gimbap ingredients), which apparently pairs surprisingly well with the Italian dishes>< Low Five is a casual restaurant that's great for enjoying a variety of food together.

There's a whole refreshing-looking drinks and alcohol menu too! Perfect for having a drink with pizza in the evening.
Three dishes for two: salad, cream pasta and half-and-half pizza
That day I ordered the salad, the half-and-half pizza, and the cream pasta.

Tada~~all the delicious dishes arrived at once. The overwhelming visual is amazing, right?!! Ordering three dishes for two people is the golden rule! With three dishes you get royally, comfortably full.
You can also check out the menu on video~~I'm so glad we ordered pizza and pasta together. The combo of the two is absolutely killer👍

Classic Caesar salad at Low Five
Let's start with the classic Caesar salad. The mountain of vegetables and cheese piled high is striking.
It comes already tossed, so you don't have to mix it yourself, which was so convenient>< The portion is massive. It's a salad you eat drizzled with fresh lemon.

The vegetables were so fresh and the ranch dressing was generously applied so it's creamy haha. Perfect for a rich Italian meal that can otherwise get heavy!

The dressing was so good I kept scooping it up haha. The flavor of the Reggiano cheese was amazing too~ Highly recommend this salad!

Alfredo cream pasta at Low Five
Next is the Alfredo cream pasta. A delicious pasta generously loaded with grilled whole bacon and shrimp.

You might think a cream pasta would be heavy, but they added crushed pepper, adding a slight spiciness that makes it even more delicious!!

Eating the shrimp and bacon separately on top is honey-sweet delicious. The rich cream was thick in the best way, and the pairing with the shrimp and bacon was top-notch><

Corn and pepperoni half-and-half pizza
Now let's try the most famous item, the pizza~ Just looking at it, it's an instant pass! It comes in 6 slices total, so two people eating it means being royally full. If you can't give up either pepperoni or corn, definitely order the half-and-half!

They put on plenty of cheese, so eaten hot it stretches beautifully and has a wonderful savory flavor.

The corn pizza has a white truffle cream base topped with whole corn kernels, shrimp, bacon, and more. My favorite pizza type is corn pizza, and after one bite of Low Five's version I was floored! The white truffle cream's aroma is amazing and the corn kernels have a crunchy bite that makes it so delicious:) There's also butter seasoning on top for an even richer pizza.

Drizzling on some sauce from the self-serve bar added a spicy kick that was delicious. Choosing truffle cream as the base was truly a genius move!! Seriously such a delicious menu item~~

My partner loves pepperoni pizza, so we ordered this too, and it was a total win!! A red sauce base loaded with pepperoni plus healthy olives on top.
It's a slightly spicy pizza that everyone would love, no matter their taste!!! The crust is also light and crispy, pairing perfectly with the salty ham haha. My partner said the pepperoni pizza was even more delicious!
I don't usually eat pizza crusts, but Low Five's crust has a different kind of lightness to it~~ It's delicious even eaten plain haha. And with that, we wrapped up a successful meal at Low Five~~ Great atmosphere and great taste, a solid recommendation for a date spot in Haenggung-dong!
Is Low Five worth the wait? Final verdict
- ✔️A Haenggung-dong pizza restaurant with an amazing atmosphere
