I was looking for somewhere to eat dinner near Seoul Forest and ended up at Billadeubeulleu Seongsu! It's known for the lasagna piled high with cheese, but it also has a strong lineup of steaks and side dishes, so it worked great as a date or group dinner spot 🫶🏻

How to get to Billadeubeulleu Seongsu, and its opening hours
Billadeubeulleu Seongsu is about a 4-minute walk from Exit 5 of Seoul Forest Station! It's also walkable from Ttukseom Station, so it's easy to reach by public transit. Once you turn into the alley, you'll spot the outdoor terrace seats, which makes it pretty easy to find!
- Hours: Tuesday–Sunday 11:00–21:00
- Break time: 15:30–17:00
- Last order: 20:00
- Closed: every Monday
- Parking: no dedicated lot

There's a Catch Table kiosk set up at the entrance. Walk-ins are fine, but during busy hours it's probably a bit more convenient to use Naver Reservations or Catch Table!

Inside Billadeubeulleu Seongsu: a blue-and-white Mediterranean look
Billadeubeulleu is designed around the idea of an artist's studio in a Southern European resort town, so the blue-and-white interior really stands out!

The interior was bigger than I expected, and the tables weren't cramped together! The overall vibe was clean but comfortable, so it was nice for dinner with my boyfriend ☺️ There are 28 indoor seats total, reservations go up to 6 people, and for 7 or more you're asked to call the store directly!

There's also terrace seating outside! On a cool day it'd be nice to eat outdoors. Dogs are welcome, and they have baby chairs and cutlery ready too.

Ordering was done through a QR code on the table. It was convenient not having to flag down staff — you could take your time browsing the menu and order right away!

What we ordered at dinner: prices and the wine corkage rule
The menu covers pasta, lasagna, risotto, steak, salads, and sides. We ordered the restaurant's signature aligot cheese lasagna, the Korean beef pepper steak, gnocchi fritti, and a zero-sugar cola.
- Aligot cheese lasagna ₩22,000
- Korean beef pepper steak ₩42,000
- Gnocchi fritti ₩9,000
- Zero-sugar cola ₩4,000

There was a good range of wines to pair with the food too. Corkage is available — wine only — and it costs ₩30,000 per bottle!

Gnocchi fritti, 9,000 won
The first dish to arrive was the gnocchi fritti. Unlike the usual soft gnocchi swimming in sauce, these were fried, so they were light to snack on, almost like fries. Dipping them into the accompanying sauce made them even softer and richer 🤤🤤

Aligot cheese lasagna, 22,000 won, poured at the table
The aligot cheese lasagna is Billadeubeulleu's signature dish — lasagna with tomato sauce topped with cheese.

A staff member came to the table and spooned warm aligot cheese right onto the lasagna. If you love cheese, this might be one of the most satisfying pasta dishes among the Seoul Forest restaurants!

Korean beef pepper steak, 42,000 won
The Korean beef pepper steak came with a generous amount of rich pepper sauce on top and cheese-topped fries on the side. The sauce had a spicy kick from the pepper but stayed creamy, so it paired well with the meat, and there was plenty of it to keep every bite moist until the end. With both steak and fries on one plate, the portion felt quite filling.

Is Billadeubeulleu Seongsu a good dinner for two?
The pepper sauce was rich but didn't overpower the flavor of the meat at all, which I really liked 🤤 It's a dish I'd recommend not just to fans of the cheese lasagna but to anyone looking for steak in the Seoul Forest area.
Billadeubeulleu Seongsu is a place with clearly defined signature dishes and a relaxed atmosphere. The aligot cheese lasagna was fun to watch as well as eat, and ordering the Korean beef pepper steak and gnocchi fritti alongside it gave the two of us plenty to share.
If you're looking for somewhere to eat after a walk through Seoul Forest, or need a good-atmosphere spot for a Seoul Forest date, this is worth a visit. For anyone hunting for a Seoul Forest pasta restaurant where you can enjoy lasagna and steak together, I'd recommend Billadeubeulleu Seongsu ☺️
