Today I'm introducing a great Pocheon date restaurant! Let me show you Oseuseu, a Pocheon pasta spot.

I visited Oseuseu while looking for a nice-atmosphere restaurant in Pocheon. The warm oak-toned interior caught my eye as soon as I walked in. Even though it wasn't Christmas season, it had this warm, cozy Christmas-ish vibe somehow haha.

This is a place that would feel even better in winter or at year-end, so I especially wanted to recommend it to anyone looking for a Pocheon date spot. It wasn't just the atmosphere — the food was satisfying too, so let me introduce this Pocheon Western-food restaurant properly.
Where is Oseuseu in Pocheon, and what are its hours?
Oseuseu is located at 33 Wangbang-ro 118beon-gil, Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, 1st floor. Hours are 11:00–21:00, with break time from 15:00 to 16:30, and it's closed every Tuesday. Check Naver Place for details!

The warm oak-toned interior at Oseuseu
What I liked most about Oseuseu was the interior! It uses warm oak tones throughout, creating a comfortable, sentimental atmosphere. The tables are spaced generously and everything felt clean and pleasant — no wonder it's known as a Pocheon date restaurant. There was a bit of a wait since it was the weekend, but turnover was fast so we got seated quickly.

There were so many pretty photo spots you couldn't help but take pictures. It was fun looking around while waiting or before the food arrived. Not Christmas, but it somehow felt like Christmas.

There was even a spot to leave a guestbook message haha. This is a self-serve bar with aprons, tongs, napkins, wet wipes and so on — just take what you need! The desks and lighting all had a nice feel too, right? Haha.
There was also a separate group table seating about 10 people, and in that space they even had Harry Potter playing on a projector. Seriously such a good vibe! With the lighting, wood-tone interior, and Harry Potter on screen, it really felt like winter. Great for a romantic Pocheon date, but it also looked good for hanging out with friends.
Parking at Oseuseu in Pocheon
There's space for about 3 cars right to the left of the Oseuseu store, and if that's full there's a free public parking lot right in the next block. On weekends it says roadside parking in front of the store is also possible! But the curb in front of the shop was already nearly full, so we used the public lot. A free public parking lot — amazing! Since people in Pocheon mostly get around by car, it was convenient to have parking options.

Oseuseu menu and prices
Oseuseu has a wide range of menu items, from pasta to pilaf, risotto, steak, and salad. If it's your first visit, the signature menu looks like a good option — a set good for two people that includes grilled cabbage salad + pasta + steak + drink for 60,000 won.

For Pocheon pasta options, there's meat crumble & aged kimchi pasta for 18,000 won, red shrimp pasta for 18,000 won, ragu pasta for 17,000 won, and for rice dishes there's shrimp pilaf and mushroom pilaf each at 16,000 won, plus risotto.

Steak is 28,000 won! For salads there's the grilled cabbage salad at 10,000 won and garden salad at 16,000 won, plus various other side dishes.

The drink menu includes everything from soda and ades to coffee, tea, wine and beer, so it's a solid lineup for enjoying proper Pocheon Western food. Ordering was fun too — you can order the analog way, and QR ordering is available as well haha.

What we ordered: grilled baby cabbage salad
We went with the signature set: grilled cabbage salad, meat crumble & aged kimchi pasta, and house pork steak. But the house pork steak was sold out that day, so we switched to the regular steak instead. I'd had the cabbage salad before and remembered it being really delicious, and it was still just as good this time! The natural sweetness of the grilled cabbage combined with the savory sauce keeps you reaching for more. You'd think 'salad' means something light on the side, but Oseuseu's grilled cabbage salad felt like a dish in its own right. Personally, I'd recommend trying this at least once if you come to Oseuseu!

Meat crumble & aged kimchi pasta
The meat crumble & aged kimchi pasta had a unique name from the start. The combo of aged kimchi and pasta felt a bit unfamiliar at first, but once you try it, it works surprisingly well. It's like eating aged kimchi alongside an oil pasta, and the kimchi cuts through the richness, making it cleaner-tasting than expected. It also had a totally different flavor from the cabbage salad I'd eaten before, so ordering both together didn't feel repetitive at all — a nice plus.

If you're looking for a different kind of Pocheon pasta, I recommend the meat crumble & aged kimchi pasta!

The 28,000-won steak at Oseuseu
Last up, the steak! It came out cooked to a perfect doneness, and the meat was tender. There were various garnishes served alongside like mushrooms and lotus root, and the garnishes were tasty enough that I finished every bit. Dipping the steak in the mashed potato was a perfect match! With pasta, salad, and steak together, it really felt like a full Pocheon Western meal.

What made the visit to Oseuseu satisfying
Everything we ordered this time was a hit! The interior was pretty and the menu lineup was diverse — coming here in person, I understood why it's said to be a good Pocheon date spot. Especially with the warm wood-tone atmosphere, I imagine it feels even better in fall, winter, or year-end season. There are plenty of spots for photos, and you can enjoy everything from pasta to steak together, so I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a nice-atmosphere Pocheon Western restaurant or a Pocheon pasta spot. Next time I want to try the pilaf or risotto rice dishes I didn't get to this time!
Final verdict on Oseuseu
- Warm atmosphere is the best
- A great spot for a date
- Highly recommend the cabbage salad
- The aged kimchi pasta is a unique treat
- Want to try the pilaf next time
