Cheongna taco restaurant pork, shrimp and bacon fajita: Taco Dot

I was craving something a little different, so I went to Taco Dot Cheongna Branch for tacos 🌮 It's the place I think of whenever I want tacos in Cheongna, and this time I hadn't been in a while, so I ordered a bunch of different things haha. If you're looking for a good taco spot in Cheongna, take note!

Taco Dot has parking space right in front, so it was convenient to visit by car :)

Once inside, every table had partitions, so I could eat comfortably without worrying much about the tables next to me.

There were also taco-shop-style decorations here and there, so walking in really felt like coming in for Mexican food, right? 🌮✨

What we ordered at Taco Dot and what it cost

Taco Dot says they prep fresh ingredients and make their sauces in-house. Today I ordered the Fajita Platter for ₩38,900 and the Burrito Bowl for ₩14,000.

The Fajita Platter came out first! It's Taco Dot's signature menu — you wrap meat, vegetables, fried rice and more into tortillas yourself. And here's the part I liked: the tortillas and sauces are unlimited refills 🤤

The meat came out as pork, shrimp, and bacon together, so instead of eating just one kind of meat, you can mix and match whatever combination you're in the mood for that day.

The visuals are insane, so vivid, so gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!

roll it up and pop it in your mouth 😋 You get that distinctive taco flavor and aroma, but it wasn't too strong, so it was easy to eat without feeling overwhelmed.

Burrito bowl, 14,000 won and light without tortillas

Next up was the Burrito Bowl for ₩14,000! Visually it kind of looks like a mini version of the Fajita Platter haha.

The Burrito Bowl is a dish where the burrito fillings are served in a bowl instead of wrapped in a tortilla. It's generously loaded with vegetables too, so it seemed good for when you want to eat a bit lighter without the tortilla. I actually ordered this because I wanted to eat lots of vegetables that day 👀 Very satisfying.

Is Taco Dot fine if you rarely eat tacos?

Since it had been a while since I last had tacos, eating something different from my usual food was refreshing 🌮💕 The Fajita Platter in particular lets you combine pork, shrimp, and bacon in the tortilla however you like, and the spice isn't too strong, so it should feel approachable even for people like me who don't eat tacos often :) Next time you're craving tacos or Mexican food in Cheongna, give Taco Dot Cheongna Branch a try 🌮✨
