Songdo bakery sandwiches and cucumber baguettes: Tomoru Bakery
In short
Tomoru Bakery is a bakery in Yeonsu, Incheon, near Incheon National University Station, with a wide choice of breads and sandwiches. I picked up basil tomato Kkamangi, a cucumber baguette, a bagel cream cheese sandwich, and salt bread in the ₩2,000 range for shopping-course snacks—and spent beyond the sponsorship amount. Verdict: Tomoru Bakery is a great pick for soft baguettes and satisfying meal breads.

Tomoru Bakery (송도토모루베이커리), famous as a great bakery near Incheon National University Station, had me doing another huge bread shop.

A Songdo bakery with a terrace and indoor table
Tomoru Bakery really stands out with its brick interior. There is terrace seating, plus one table inside if you want to eat there.

It looks like they won a French baking competition. The bread really is delicious, haha.

Which cream bread and sandwich should I choose?
The refrigerated display case is packed with cream breads and sandwiches. The sandwiches here are seriously good too. I recommend the bagel cream cheese sandwich! I stocked up on it again this time, haha.
The shop is not especially large, but the bread selection is incredibly varied. I honestly wonder how they make so many kinds of bread every day.

There is a clear window toward the back of the shop, so you can watch the bread being made. Since it is such a popular bakery near Incheon National University Station, there were lots of bakers at work too.

Basil tomato Kkamangi and soft baguettes
The best-selling breads are marked, and truly, they are all delicious. The basil tomato Kkamangi is generously filled, so it is hearty as well as wonderfully soft.

Some of the baguettes are marked as bestsellers too. There is even a fancy chocolate baguette with the recently trendy Dubai chocolate added in.
The cucumber baguette, filled with mayonnaise sauce and soft cucumber, was nutty and delicious too. I tend to avoid baguettes because I worry they will be tough, but Tomoru Bakery's baguettes are not hard at all—so good!

Salt bread that works well as a meal
There are many kinds of salt bread too, including garlic cheese, myeongran (pollack roe), and potato bacon. There were plenty of breads that make a good meal substitute.

At the counter, there is plain salt bread and butter tteok (rice cake), and the salt bread looks absolutely insane, right? The color came out so beautifully. It is in the ₩2,000 range too, and I recommend it for its buttery aroma and chewy-soft layers.

The nostalgic, old-fashioned, and classic breads are gathered on one side. A truly great place always gets its basic items right, and Tomoru Bakery near Incheon National University Station does too—I recommend it!
Tomoru Bakery is also known for its pretty, delicious cakes packed with fruit. They come in regular and mini sizes, so it is easy to choose one too~

Snacks for shopping at Songhyeon-a and Triple Street
When I go to Tomoru Bakery in Songdo, I usually make a route of nearby Songhyeon-a and Triple Street too. Buying snacks to take along meant I could nibble between shops and keep my energy up while walking around, hahaha.

I thought I would only buy enough to eat since it was sponsored, but I went over the sponsorship amount and bought so much...
Tomoru Bakery is so good that even my mom asked me to tell her the name of the bakery.

Tomoru Bakery also has coffee and drinks, making it a nice spot to eat like brunch. These days, when the weather is perfect for eating on the terrace, it is a Songdo bakery I recommend.

I recommend Tomoru Bakery as a stop on an Incheon bread tour.
