Jeju indoor attraction with family photo cartoons: Theme Park Toon

Where do you go if it's raining or too hot during a Jeju trip? When you're traveling with kids, sometimes you suddenly have to switch the plan to something indoors, haha. This time I'm introducing an indoor spot in Jeju worth visiting: Theme Park Toon.

It's not a place where you just look at exhibits and leave — you can actually see the comics and characters up close, take photos, and even do hands-on activities.

There are characters kids will especially love, plus comics that will feel nostalgic for moms and dads, so if you're looking for an indoor spot to visit with kids in Jeju, give this a try ^^

The parking lot is large, so parking was no trouble at all ^^

Where is Theme Park Toon in Jeju, and what are the hours?

Theme Park Toon is located at 69 Eunsu-gil, Jeju-si, 1st floor. Hours are 09:00–19:00, with last admission at 18:00.

It's on the Jeju City side, so it's also a good option to slot into the first or last day of your Jeju trip as an indoor plan.

A lot of middle and high school students on school trips visit here too.

How much is admission to Theme Park Toon?

Let's check the admission fees first.

• Viewing admission — Adult ₩18,000 / Teen ₩16,000 / Child ₩13,000
• Admission + T-shirt making — ₩30,000
• Admission + XR experience — Adult ₩25,000 / Teen ₩23,000 / Child ₩20,000

On top of the basic viewing, you can add T-shirt making and the XR experience

so you can choose based on your kid's age or your travel schedule.

Inside Theme Park Toon: like stepping into a comic book

The fun part of Theme Park Toon is that it's not just a space where comics are displayed. If you tell the box office your family name, they write something like "So-and-so family, you finally made it?" haha, on a little sign for you ^^

The moment you walk in, tons of cute characters greet you haha. I think I took a million photos ^^

Theme Park Toon route: what to see floor by floor

For a convenient viewing order, I'd recommend: view the 1st floor, take the elevator up to the 3rd floor, walk down the stairs to the 2nd floor, then finish with the café and store.

There are characters familiar to kids alongside ones that'll be a welcome surprise for the parents' generation!

I thought it would be a space just for kids to look around, but seeing a character here and there that adults recognize made it secretly kind of exciting haha.

Your family photo turned into a cartoon on the wall

Make sure to take a family photo! It gets converted into a cartoon and displayed on the wall ^^ Such a great keepsake~~~ I recommend the whole family join in.

Round Media Hall at Theme Park Toon

This is the Round Media Hall, a space where media art plays continuously.

The Bread Barbershop video that kids love is really fun too — it can be a little dizzying, so check it out on video too ^^

The video is so pretty and the media art is so fun it feels like it might jump right out at you hahaha.

The ball photo zone was fun too — a space the kids really liked ^^

Episode 1 of Rubber Shoes, which adults love, hahaha — it's different from the image we remember, but it was interesting to see how episode 1 actually started hahaha.

Draw Show: a child's coloring comes alive as media art

This is the Draw Show space, where there's an activity for kids to draw pictures themselves.

You pick a character, color it in, and media art appears on the wall so you can meet the kids' drawings brought to life on video.

Touching the wall also makes the characters float up into the sky holding balloons, which was fun too.

Avatar On: your movements on screen in real time

Avatar On! Think of it as an experience where kids' movements are reflected onto an avatar in real time, so you become one with the character.

Moving on to another exhibit space ^^ There's even a claw machine-shaped set you can actually climb into hahaha. This area recreates scenes from the comics, and there are lots of photos, so let me share a bunch ^^

Be sure to take lots of keepsake photos in front of the photo zones the kids love.

Bread Barbershop zone for younger kids

The Bread Barbershop zone the kids were looking forward to the most!!!!!!

Isn't it just so cute and charming, hahaha.

Instead of just taking a photo standing next to the characters, you can capture a photo that makes it look like you actually stepped inside the comic. Haha.

There are various other character zones too, so if you recognize any of the comics, take lots of photos to remember them by ^^

Café, goods store and game zone

You can also use the café and there's a store selling goods, so take your time enjoying them on the way down.

There's also a space where kids can play simple games and throw punches, so be sure to explore every corner!

In the mirror zone, there's a space decorated with light and video that you can explore piece by piece, so instead of just looking at exhibits the whole time, it stays interesting.

Being able to move around and enjoy it directly with the kids is what makes Theme Park Toon stand out ^^

The outdoor lawn plaza after your visit

After finishing the tour, when you step outside there's a wide open lawn plaza,
