Hi everyone! Today I went on a date near Jukjeon Station with my boyfriend and had genuinely delicious steak and pasta. He raved that it was the best steak he's ever had, and honestly, both the atmosphere and the food were so satisfying that I really wanted to introduce this place as a true hidden gem. Today's spot was Etrenne Jukjeon Branch.

How to find Etrenne Jukjeon Branch, and where to park

Etrenne Jukjeon Branch is located on the 1st floor of the Daewoo World Mark West End commercial building at the Jukjeon Station intersection! It's below the stairs going up to the 2nd floor next to Jojo Kalguksu, beside Lee Chun-bong Chicken, so it wasn't hard to find.

On Naver Map, search 'Daewoo World Mark West End Sangga Parking Lot Entrance', and on Kakao Map search 'Daewoo World Mark Sangga Parking Lot' to use the building's parking lot.

And definitely, definitely, definitely — after parking, take the 2nd-floor connecting bridge over to the restaurant! If you exit from the 1st floor of the parking lot, it's quite a walk to the restaurant. First-time visitors will have a much easier time finding it this way!

This is a place where a chef with outstanding skill and rich experience cooks the food directly. You could really feel the years of know-how and careful cooking process in every dish, which made it feel even more special!

Only 5 to 6 tables: why Etrenne Jukjeon Branch works for a date

The interior had about 5-6 tables, a cozy scale, with room for up to 8 people. The clean, sophisticated restaurant vibe made it a great date spot, and the atmosphere was perfect for enjoying a quiet meal. It felt cozy yet upscale, like a proper destination restaurant where you come specifically for delicious food.

You can enjoy steak, pasta, lasagna, and even wine here. The menu is well put together, and the set menus are also nicely composed, so it's perfect for anyone who wants to try several dishes together. We ordered the Mammoth Garlic Steak, Toowoomba pasta, and a Bundaberg grapefruit drink.

First, the Bundaberg grapefruit came out with a cup of ice! The color looked so pretty and delicious.

Blanc, Hoegaarden, and Budweiser are on a buy-one-get-one promotion! On a hot summer day, a cold beer alongside delicious steak and pasta sounds perfect!

The salad and pre-meal bread that come with every steak

First, the salad that comes with a steak order was ready! It had lettuce, cherry tomatoes, olives, and cheese, paired with a refreshing house-made sauce, which really whetted my appetite and got me even more excited for what was coming.

The bread also comes out — wow, this was freshly baked and genuinely delicious. Just from the salad and bread alone, I could tell this place cooks with real care.

Toowoomba pasta: thick noodles cooked just right

This is the Toowoomba pasta! Thick pasta noodles were generously topped with king oyster mushrooms and plump shrimp. The rich, savory cream sauce had a bit of spice that kept it from feeling heavy, and I kept reaching for more — the sauce was really delicious!

With thick pasta noodles especially, the doneness sometimes doesn't match my taste, but here the noodles were cooked exactly right!

They weren't overcooked at all and kept a chewy texture, which felt great paired with the sauce, and it went really well with the Toowoomba sauce.

The rich Toowoomba sauce with savory cheese powder mixed in wasn't heavy and had just the right kick — it was genuinely delicious even eaten by the spoonful.

Mammoth Garlic Steak: garlic sauce and garlic flakes are the kicker

This is the Mammoth Garlic Steak! True to its name, the size was quite impressive! This was seriously, seriously good...!

The steak stood out from the thickness alone! The outside was cooked to a mouthwatering finish, and the inside was moist — the moment I took a bite, the juices burst out, so soft and full of flavor!! Even though it was a thick steak, it wasn't chewy at all and kept that moist texture — I couldn't believe steak could be this delicious.

The garlic sauce and garlic flakes served alongside were the kicker!!! They gave a generous amount, so piling it on made the garlic flavor even more intense and the whole dish even richer!

The combination of the two dishes was really great, so delicious! It's a dish that could easily be heavy, but it wasn't heavy at all — it had a spicy kick and lots of depth of flavor.

My boyfriend said, as expected, any dish with 'mammoth' in the name never disappoints haha, and he raved about it! He especially said it was the moistest, juiciest steak he'd ever had and was totally won over haha. The sauce was so good that when we mixed it with the fries, I nearly licked the plate clean haha.
