What was the interior like?

Inside Taegine, the tables were spaced out well so it never felt cramped, making for a comfortable meal 😊 The whole restaurant was neat and tidy, and the bright lighting gave it a cheerful atmosphere ✨ It felt like a comfortable place for family meals or a group visit 💛

For two, the tang-bossam set instead of clam hot pot

Most of the other tables were eating clam hot pot, and the portions looked really generous 😋 We figured it might be too much for two people, so instead of clam hot pot we ordered the spicy seafood stew and bossam set 😊 Getting to enjoy refreshing, spicy seafood stew together with bossam felt much more satisfying and varied than just sticking to one dish 💛

Side dish refills

It was great that you could get side dishes refilled if you ran low 😊 Barley rice was also provided, so you could mix it together with the side dishes 🍚 It was nice to lightly mix and eat the barley rice before the seafood stew or clam hot pot arrived, which made for a hearty start to the meal 💛 The side dishes could be refilled whenever needed, which was a nice touch 😊

You also get barley rice to eat alongside, and the seasoning sauce was spicy-sweet, making it really tasty once mixed in 🍚 Add in side dishes and mix the sauce in well, and you can polish off a bowl easily 😋 I meant to eat it lightly before the main dish arrived, but it was tastier than expected, so I kept going back for more 💛

The spicy seafood stew comes together with bossam (boiled pork) 🥩 The bossam had no off flavors, tasted clean, and the meat was tender and easy to eat 😊 Taking a spoonful of the spicy stew and then a bite of the soft bossam was such a great combination 💛

Ice cream

Finally, dessert ice cream comes out too 🍦 After a filling meal of spicy seafood stew and bossam, wrapping things up with sweet ice cream felt like a clean, satisfying finish 😊 A meal really does need a sweet dessert at the end 💛
