I went with a coworker during our company lunch break to Pyu Euljiro, which is famous around Euljiro! If you're looking for a nice-atmosphere pasta place in Euljiro, I'd recommend this one!!

There are so many good restaurants with great vibes around Euljiro these days that it's hard to decide where to go, but I was craving pasta this time so I looked around for a pasta spot in Euljiro and ended up here~ To cut to the conclusion: the atmosphere, seating, and food were all satisfying overall! When I pick a restaurant, the food matters, but I also care a lot about the vibe of the place and how much space there is between seats — and this place delivered on that front!!

It's on the first floor inside the building, so it wasn't hard to find!! Even the exterior already looked clean and had a nice atmosphere, right?!

Wide table spacing at Pyu Euljiro: good for a blind date?

Pyu Euljiro is a restaurant in Euljiro3-ga with generous space between tables, so you can talk without worrying about the next table over. Unlike the cozy little places tucked into the alleys nearby, the wide seating here also seemed like it could work well for a blind date or a regular date.

The first thing I felt walking in was how clean the whole place looked!! The interior had a clean, sleek feel, so it was comfortable to eat there. And the seats were spacious with generous gaps between tables, which I loved!!💕

A lot of restaurants in Euljiro are tucked cozily into alleys, but here the tables weren't packed too close together, so we could talk without worrying about the next table!! That's why I'd especially recommend this to anyone looking for a date restaurant in Euljiro!! It felt just right for a date. And I thought it would work fine as a blind date spot too! For a blind date, the food matters, but so does the atmosphere of the place, right?! This place was clean overall with roomy seating, so it seemed like a good fit for that too (honestly, if I ever get set up on a blind date, I should come here myself..🤣)

I made a reservation ahead of time, and the table was already neatly set up when I arrived!

Seeing my name written on the reserved table gave me that special, taken-care-of feeling — it was nice.

Pyu Euljiro's menu and what two coworkers ordered

Here's the menu~ There's a good variety and even set menus, but we ordered the truffle mushroom risotto, bisque pasta, and a glass of wine!

Cuna del Sol Sauvignon Blanc, 12,000 won a glass

We started with the white glass wine! It was refreshing, dry, and clean, so it paired really well with the pasta. Technically we're still on the clock and shouldn't be drinking,,haha but we snuck a glass at lunchtime lol

Bisque pasta, 26,000 won

Finally, the pasta we ordered~~ The first bite was great because the sauce had soaked well into the noodles!! It's a deeply reduced shrimp sauce topped with a champagne foam, and the combination worked so well. Especially with pasta, if the sauce flavor is too strong, you can get sick of it after a few bites, but the overall balance here was good, so I kept going back for more.

The noodles had a good bite without feeling overcooked, and the sauce didn't feel separate from the noodles — it all blended together naturally when eaten together. There wasn't much loose sauce; it was mostly coated onto the noodles.

Truffle mushroom risotto, 26,000 won

This risotto is topped with three types of thinly sliced mushrooms, and the mushrooms paired so well with the rice!! The rice was cooked well too, so it went down easily.

Scooping up rice with a mushroom on top each time, it was so fragrant and delicious!

Doesn't it look so appetizing?! A bite of pasta, a bite of risotto, then a sip of wine to cut through the richness — it was a combo I kept reaching for! Hehe

Is Pyu Euljiro worth it for a work lunch or a date?

What I liked most was that it didn't feel like a place you just eat and leave — it was nice to spend some relaxed time in the space itself! It's good for catching up with a friend over a meal, and it also had the kind of atmosphere that works for a slow, leisurely date meal!

Since there are so many offices around Euljiro, it seemed like a great spot to come with a coworker on a lunch break, like I did!! If you're looking for a restaurant in Euljiro with a clean vibe and roomy seating, keep this in mind~~ You could eat well here and then continue on wandering the alleys of Euljiro for a date course, so it could also work for a weekend or dinner plan! Next time I'm craving pasta in Euljiro, I'll be back~~
