Today I'm bringing you a review of Daeshin Peanut Bread, the Seomyeon snack people say is worth lining up for, like the famous one at Daegu Seomun Market! As winter creeps closer I have a feeling I'll be buying this even more often, so let me introduce it.

Where is Daeshin Peanut Bread in Seomyeon, and what are the hours?
Daeshin Peanut Bread Busan Seomyeon Branch is at 20 Seojeon-ro, Busanjin-gu, Busan, and it's open from 10 AM to 8 PM. It's closed every Sunday.

- Address: 20 Seojeon-ro, Busanjin-gu, Busan, South Korea
- Hours: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM (closed every Sunday)

Maybe because it's a newer spot on the Seomyeon food scene, Daeshin Peanut Bread has a really clean, eye-catching exterior +_+ It's also close to Seomyeon Station subway, so it's a great location for street snacks when you get hungry in between things!

The smell of peanut bread and egg bread baking at Daeshin
Inside, they're constantly baking peanut bread and egg bread, so even the nearby alley is filled with that nutty smell ~~~~♡ It's the kind of magical smell that makes you spin right around while just walking by...

Seeing them baked golden brown and warm, it's hard to just walk past haha

You can taste-test in the store too, so I bet a lot of people try a bite, love it, and end up buying some. Maybe because everything's made with 100% pure peanuts and no additives, but honestly every menu item tastes great 〰️

Daeshin's menu: roasted peanuts, peanut bread, egg bread, peanut latte
Since Daeshin Peanut Bread is a peanut specialty shop, they sell everything from roasted peanuts to peanut bread, egg bread, and peanut latte — way more variety than I expected!! Desserts are priced per piece, so you can buy exactly the number you need :)

I ordered 3 egg breads and 1 peanut latte! Honestly, just this much was perfect for a light dinner.

What does the peanut latte at Daeshin taste like?
The peanut latte at Daeshin was impressively rich and dense in a way I didn't expect from a latte! The nuttiness was much stronger than other lattes I've had, and I really enjoyed it.

Under 10,000 won, with a free peanut bread added
I only ordered egg bread, but they kindly threw in a few free peanut breads too! Insanely good value... 💗 If I can get such a generous haul to go for under ₩10,000, I'll be a regular here forever ~~~

The dough isn't soft — it's a bit crisp — so the texture won me over right away. The dough itself has a nutty flavor, so every bite hit with that toasty peanut taste.

Even light eaters would be full after just one — they're big and packed generously inside! It seems like a snack everyone from parents to grandparents to kids would love, so you could buy a bunch, freeze them, and they'd probably still taste great later haha

How much filling is inside Daeshin's egg bread?
Inside the egg bread there's a big, light and fluffy egg, and it's seriously delicious... It's also on the larger side, so eating just one with coffee is plenty filling — great for a snack or even standing in for breakfast!

The egg isn't dry at all, so you could eat it without milk or water — it's moist and nutty inside, and I honestly don't think I'd get tired of eating this every day... 💗 The outside stays crisp too, so it has that crisp-outside-soft-inside contrast that made it especially distinctive and delicious.

It's a good size to pick up and eat casually, so it's easy to share among a group of friends without any pressure. The nutty flavor really shines, and I imagine it would be even more intense fresh out of the oven eaten right there.

Can you order peanut bread without the peanuts?
By the way, they told me they can bake the peanut bread without peanuts if you ask, and the dough is so chewy that it would probably taste great even by itself. Between the crisp dough you get that crunchy texture, and I thought, yeah, this is it!
Is Daeshin Peanut Bread worth a stop in Seomyeon?
Daeshin Peanut Bread is a Seomyeon food spot that seems like it would win over parents' tastes too, and it would make a great dessert or snack gift! It has that addictive quality where it just keeps going down with milk, and it's easy on the stomach even on an empty stomach, so I'd definitely recommend trying it as a street food 🤍
