Weekend-only pasta spot in Jeonpo, Busan: whole-garlic confit aglio
In short
Brassway is a Western-style pasta restaurant in Jeonpo, Busan, led by a head chef trained at Le Cordon Bleu. After booking ahead for a weekend dinner, we sat by the window and ordered the signature galbi (short rib) pasta, whole-garlic confit aglio olio, peach ade, and red wine, scraping the plate clean down to the house-made pickles. Weekends fill up fast at Brassway, so reserve ahead before you go.

Today I visited Brassway, a Jeonpo restaurant known for its galbi pasta, run by a head chef who trained at Le Cordon Bleu.

Brassway's exterior and menu in the Jeonpo alleys
The exterior of Brassway, one of the pasta spots that stands out in Jeonpo. It sits along an alley packed with good restaurants, and the outside alone looked so pretty.

They serve pasta, pizza, wine, and steak.

A wood-toned interior and a Le Cordon Bleu diploma
The interior was cozy too, with a wood tone and a few plants that gave it a really nice atmosphere. It seemed like a great spot for a wedding invitation get-together in Jeonpo or a date with your partner. In one corner there was even a diploma from Le Cordon Bleu, one of the world's three top culinary schools, so I could trust the cooking would be good.

Nearly full on weekends — book ahead
We booked ahead and got a window seat at Brassway, one of the pasta spots that stands out in Jeonpo. Visiting on a weekend, the place was nearly full, and people without a reservation either waited or just left, so I'd really recommend booking before you go, haha.

There was also a letter to guests and a nicely prepared menu. Since Brassway is known for its pasta in Jeonpo, we ordered the signature galbi pasta and whole-garlic confit aglio olio, plus a peach ade and a red wine.

Self-serve bar: house-made pickles and peach ade
At the self-serve bar there were pickles that looked homemade.

And here's the full spread that arrived. It looked incredible and smelled amazing too.
I also filmed the food and atmosphere at Brassway, the Jeonpo restaurant known for its pasta — the vibe is really nice and the food is delicious, so I'd recommend it as a date spot in Jeonpo.
You could tell care went into the pickles from the start — cucumber, celery, carrot, and radish, all house-made — and you could see at a glance how much thought went into the plating.

The pickles especially had that perfect sweet-and-sour balance, with each vegetable's own flavor coming through and a crisp crunch — I could've finished a whole glass of wine on the pickles alone, ugh.

The peach ade smelled amazing too. My friend said it was the best peach ade she's ever had.

How does the signature galbi pasta taste?
The signature galbi (short rib) pasta at Brassway, the Jeonpo restaurant known for its pasta.

There's a big rib bone piled with meat, and even the bone smelled delicious. My friend said the bone looked bare of meat, but the meat was so tender it must have all fallen right off.
The galbi pasta at Brassway, the Jeonpo pasta spot, was really packed with meat.

The noodles were cooked to a doneness that pretty much any Korean would love, and the slightly spicy, sweet soy sauce had soaked in perfectly.

The meat was especially tender — it melted the moment it hit my mouth. Genuinely delicious pasta. I could see exactly why it's the signature dish at Brassway, the Jeonpo pasta spot.

It was also just perfect as a drinking snack.

Whole-garlic confit aglio olio, with a squeeze of lemon
Next up, aglio olio. They told us to squeeze a bit of lemon juice over it, so we did.

True to Brassway's reputation for great pasta in Jeonpo, the aglio olio was really delicious too.
The garlic was cooked just right and paired beautifully with the noodles. It was garlic cooked to a moist, almost steamed texture — I usually prefer garlic roasted until crisp, but this was genuinely delicious.

It was so good that my friend and I scraped the plate clean — noodles, meat, garlic, even the pickles — at Brassway, the Jeonpo restaurant known for its pasta.
