Every birthday, I always spent a similar day going to good restaurants and cafés, but this time I wanted a day I would truly remember for a long time, so I went on a special Han River yacht-tour date 💙

Honestly, when I thought of riding a yacht in Seoul, it felt expensive, difficult, and like something only special people did. But once I went, the atmosphere was so lovely that I immediately understood why it is so popular for birthdays, anniversaries, and dates! Seoul's night view from the Han River was truly too beautiful to capture fully in photos, and I kept having moments of thinking, “Wow... I'm so glad I spent my birthday this way.” 🥹 The place I visited this time was Sailing Paradise ⛵

Hours and parking

Hours are 10:00 am–10:00 pm daily. If you are driving, use the paid Han River parking lot, and since it is at Yeouido Hangang, parking is available too!!! The best, right? Just note that it is paid parking~

The route to the boarding office

The boarding spot for this unusual Han River yacht-tour date with Sailing Paradise is in Yeouido!! The weather was amazing too~ Go down below rather than stopping here! Cross the bridge this way and you will get there~ When you reach the convenience-store side, turn right.

Keep going straight this way!!! It would be nice to have a drink here at night too~

Sailing Paradise's office is here!!! We went to the office, filled out the boarding form, and then went to board. The owner is super kind!! Haha, we followed the owner over~!!

They have lots of nice yachts!!!

There are lots of different yacht types too!! It is best to ask about the price~!

From daylight to night views with a 6 pm boarding

These days, people even have birthday parties and proposals on yachts. Please check the website for detailed prices.

I recommend the 6 pm time slot! We had an early dinner beforehand and brought wine and cheese!

You can watch the sunset too. From 6 pm to 9 pm, we could enjoy daylight, sunset, and the night view!

A yacht is the best place for those once-in-a-lifetime photos!!!

Birthday-party essentials and the cabin atmosphere

A private yacht birthday party on Seoul's Han River 🎂 With the cake candles lit in a cabin full of pink lighting, plus the night view, it was such a special day!!

You can have a birthday party, and several people can board!! I recommend 4 people~~~ Two couples can come and hang out together. There is even a space where you can lie down like this!

Especially with the sunset-time + night-view-time combination, you will get truly amazing photos 💕 I definitely recommend bringing wine! We did not bring wine glasses, but the owner lent us plastic wine glasses, so we could really enjoy the atmosphere 🥹💙 If you were not able to prepare them separately, you can also easily buy plastic wine glasses at a convenience store, so bringing a few makes it even more atmospheric ✨
