Yongin pizza restaurant with baby chairs: Miso Porcini at Bonaricetta
In short
Bonaricetta is a wood-fired pizza restaurant on Baegokdae-ro in Mohyeon-eup, Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, near the HUFS Global Campus. Visiting on a weekday with her husband and daughter, the writer ordered the Miso Porcini pizza (30,000 won), which placed third at the 2026 Korea Pizza Competition, and Shrimp Aglio e Olio (20,500 won), and staff brought over a baby chair and set it up themselves. Between the deeply truffled dough and the garlicky aglio e olio, Bonaricetta is a place she would happily return to with the baby.

Why we chose Bonaricetta, a wood-fired pizza spot near Yongin's HUFS campus
Today my husband, our daughter and I went to Bonaricetta, near the Yongin campus of HUFS!! Sometimes I get such a strong craving for wood-fired pizza, and today I came home totally satisfied!
Anyone who likes pizza might have heard of this place — apparently it took 3rd place at the 2026 Korea Pizza Competition. So even though I don't eat wood-fired pizza that often, I was so curious how good it would be that I had to go check it out haha.

Where is Bonaricetta and is parking easy?
Parking at Bonaricetta was easier than I expected. There's a wide open space out front, and since we came on a weekday we parked with plenty of room to spare. Honestly I was thinking to myself, 'wait, there's a famous wood-fired pizza place out here?' (whispering) Since it's near Yongin's HUFS campus, I imagine plenty of couples come here on dates, and for people like us who love hunting down good food, it's definitely worth the trip.

Inside Bonaricetta: the room and the wood-fired dough
The moment we walked into Bonaricetta, the wood-fired oven caught my eye right away!! An oven that makes your mouth water just looking at it! There were also window seats where you could eat while looking outside.
They fire it up as soon as you order. Ah, it already smells so good 🤤🤤 I'm not usually a huge pizza person, but wood-fired pizza is the one thing I crave every so often, ugh.
Bonaricetta says it uses 100% Italian flour, Italian cheese and Italian tomato sauce, with dough hand-kneaded fresh every morning at over 75% hydration, which is said to make it soft and chewy. They say the high hydration also makes it easier on the stomach and easier to digest. Lately flour-heavy meals tend to leave me feeling bloated, so I was curious to see if that would hold true here.

Ordering the Miso Porcini pizza and Shrimp Aglio e Olio
There were plenty of pizza options on the menu, but we went with the award-winning Miso Porcini for ₩30,000 and the Shrimp Aglio e Olio for ₩20,500.

What the Miso Porcini pizza tastes like
The pizza looked exactly like wood-fired pizza should. The crust wasn't too thick, on the thinner side, and the truffle aroma was strong with a rich, creamy sauce underneath — so good!!! Seriously, totally my style. I genuinely wanted to eat the whole thing by myself, hahaha, sob.
And you know how the crust edge of wood-fired pizza is always so chewy and good!? I dipped the leftover crust into the aglio e olio oil and it made me so happy haha.

What the Shrimp Aglio e Olio tastes like
The Shrimp Aglio e Olio felt perfectly suited to Korean tastes! It was loaded with garlic, so the umami hit hard. I think my husband ate most of it — I only managed one chopstick's worth before it was gone... True to its name, it had five big, hearty shrimp in it, so we even shared some with the baby.

Can you bring a baby to Bonaricetta?
One thing I really appreciated was that Bonaricetta had a baby chair. Once they saw our baby, staff brought it over and even set it up themselves. I was so grateful. (Blurred the photo since our little one has a stye on her eye, sorry!) It was great being able to sit and eat together with the baby, and it had been a while since we got to enjoy pizza together like that.
Random tangent, but lately on social media I've seen quite a few places that won't even let you bring baby food in?!?! Now that I'm a mom myself, it stings a little, but I also wonder how badly other parents must have behaved for it to come to that. Personally, I try not to even ask to borrow the microwave, and I always take home every tissue or wipe our baby uses — I think it's about being considerate of each other. Nothing is ever owed to us by default! Anyway!!

Would we go back to Bonaricetta?
We ate so well! We cleaned every plate haha.
If you're on a date near Yongin's HUFS campus, or you just love wood-fired pizza, I think it's worth a visit at least once. It felt like just pizza alone wasn't quite enough, so we added the aglio e olio too, and eating them together made both dishes taste even better haha. Next time I have a reason to be near Yongin's HUFS campus, I think this place will come to mind again :)
