Jeju Eunhui-ne Haejangguk Goyang Samsong Branch is right in front of Starfield Goyang, in the Ipyeonhansesangcity Samsong 1-danji shopping complex. This is the haejangguk spot Samsong locals swear by!! So we went to check out Eunhui-ne Haejangguk 🩷🩷 Seriously, when Samsong residents want haejangguk, they come here without fail! 😊

If you head from Samsong Station toward Starfield, you'll find it quickly 🙂 Honestly there isn't a lot to eat inside Starfield itself... For those times, come to Eunhui-ne Haejangguk right in front! It's cheap and really tasty 🙂

11am at Jeju Eunhui-ne: a full dining room and free rice and broth refills

Jeju Eunhui-ne Haejangguk Goyang Samsong Branch has a spacious, very clean dining room 😊 We visited around 11am, and the moment we walked in, the place filled up with customers!! haha

Seeing all the celebrity autographs on the wall, it really does seem like celebrities eat here too 😍 And the best part here is that both rice refills and broth refills are completely free 🫢 Any guys who eat a lot of rice would love this, haha

Tripe soup and the dombe pork set — how big are the portions?

We ordered the tripe soup and the dombe pork set — just look at how generous this tripe soup is 🫢🩷

When you order the dombe pork as a set, you get to try it at a really good value 👍🏻 There wasn't a hint of gaminess, it was tender and delicious 🩷 We even wrapped it up in lettuce and ate every bit.

My husband's tripe soup was absolutely loaded with tripe, beef blood, bean sprouts and more!! Even for an adult man, the portion was truly enormous — he ate until he was completely full 😆👍🏻 There's absolutely no way you'd need a rice refill here... even the basic portion is huge!!!! lol

No beef blood, chili seasoning kept in: ordering haejangguk your way

This is my haejangguk 🩷 I can't eat beef blood so I asked them to leave it out, and since I like spicy food, I kept the chili paste (dadagi) in! If you can't handle spice, you can ask them to leave the dadagi out too, so you can adjust it exactly to your taste 👍🏻

Wow, look at the amount of meat! Seriously generous, right?! I ate until I was absolutely stuffed 🤣 Out of every haejangguk I've had, this one is number one! If you want haejangguk in Samsong, just go to Eunhui-ne Haejangguk in Samsong, no question 👍🏻

Garlic is the trick here — one spoonful versus three

The real trick to this place is this garlic!! Add this garlic in and the flavor gets so much richer 🫢 I put in one spoonful, but my husband said he adds a full three spoonfuls, haha. Try it clean first, then try it with garlic added 🙂 Koreans are garlic lovers after all... lol This is Eunhui-ne Haejangguk for you, they know their stuff haha

That spicy broth with the chili paste is absolutely the best for curing a hangover and also the best for a filling meal 💗 It was honestly so, so delicious 😆

Broth full of bean sprouts and glass noodles, with seokbakji radish kimchi

I love bean sprouts so much, lol!! This haejangguk is packed with bean sprouts and glass noodles, so honestly you feel full even without rice..🤣 But if you add rice into the broth too, it's absolutely delicious and makes for a really filling meal! The meat is so tender too... crunchy bean sprouts plus chewy glass noodles is such a great combination 👍🏻👍🏻 This is a place anyone — any age, any gender — would rave about after eating here.😉

The side chili peppers and the delicious sukbakji (diced radish kimchi) really seem to make the haejangguk taste even more refreshing 🙂 I'll admit, this place is a genuine gem even judging by the kimchi alone, haha

A clean restaurant, kind staff, and perfect flavor on top of it all! As a Samsong resident, this is my genuine, wholehearted recommendation for haejangguk. You should all definitely visit and try this delicious haejangguk too 😊
