The thing I liked most as soon as I arrived was the wide, open private parking lot. Driving there meant zero worry about parking, so getting in was completely hassle-free. Since the lot sits right in front of the restaurant, there's plenty of space.

I imagine this wide seating fills right up during lunch hour. The restrooms are separated for men and women inside, and there are baby chairs too, so the facilities are quite well thought out.

Overall it has that clean, orderly presence of a classic, proper Chinese restaurant. If you run low on pickled radish or kimchi, you can grab more from the self-serve bar. The bar itself was kept tidy, and small plates and scissors are also there for you to take and use.

True to a Chinese restaurant, the menu covers the classics: jjajang, jjambbong, fried rice, and tangsuyuk. Personally I love jjambbong that's rich and loaded with meat, and this Godeok, Pyeongtaek spot turned out to be exactly my style of jjambbong place. There's a meat-style jjambbong and a basic-style jjambbong, so any jjambbong lover should walk away satisfied.

The rice menu was pretty varied too. Shrimp fried rice, jjajang rice, jjambbong rice, old-style jjambbong rice — a compact but varied lineup that caught my eye.
