My husband and I wanted to eat pizza at a restaurant together for once! So we headed to Sunny's Pizza Market. We usually just order delivery, but the weather was so nice that day, and I wanted hot pizza fresh from the store, so off to Yeonnam-dong we went...

This is genuinely the best pizza I've had so far, no exaggeration..!

Sunny's Pizza Market is located in Yeonnam-dong, within walking distance of Hongik University Station, so it wasn't hard to find at all.

Inside Sunny's Pizza Market: the second-floor space

Walking into Sunny's Pizza Market, there was music playing and a cool autumn breeze coming through the open windows — such a great atmosphere.

The cool weather made it feel like the perfect day to eat pizza, haha

The store itself has a relaxed vibe, so it was easy to enjoy the meal without any pressure.

There's a tablet at every table, so ordering was easy.

Unlimited dipping sauce at the self-serve bar

At Sunny's Pizza Market you grab your own tableware from the self-serve bar, which also has pickles and hot sauce ready to go.

And here's the one amazing thing!

The dipping sauce is unlimited. As someone who loves dipping sauce with pizza, this was seriously the best thing ever, haha

What to order for two at Sunny's Pizza Market

That day we ordered the Smooth Potato R size + cheese crust, and the Bacon Cheddar Oven Pasta.

If you're visiting as a couple, I'd recommend this exact combo. First of all, the portions are huge. We ordered one pizza plus the oven pasta, and it was more than enough for both of us — we left completely full.

Bacon Cheddar Oven Pasta

The Bacon Cheddar Oven Pasta came out first, and the bowl itself is massive. Comparing it to a coke bottle, you can see just how big this bowl really is, haha

There was a generous amount of tomato sauce and an insane amount of cheese. One bite in, and it was just... amazing.

The tomato sauce and cheese went so well together, genuinely delicious. My husband and I kept raving about it as we ate. Honestly we came for the pizza and weren't expecting much from the oven pasta, but this was incredibly good too, T.T

Smooth Potato pizza, R size with cheese crust

Then the Smooth Potato R size pizza we'd been waiting for arrived. Even in the R size, the pizza was pretty large.

There was so much cheese piled on that it looked delicious just from the look of it, but the real star was the cheese crust. There's cheese stuffed inside the crust, and the amount is no joke.

Eating the pizza and then the crust, you could really taste all that cheese — so good. Dip it in the sauce from the self-serve bar on top of that, and it's basically game over. Truly delicious, full stop.

Final verdict: a Yeonnam-dong pizza date worth repeating

Honestly, Sunny's Pizza Market is the best pizza I've had so far, hands down..! My husband and I kept saying how good it was the whole time, and on our way out after paying, I told the owner it was the best pizza I've ever had, haha (the owner was so, so kind)
