Seokchon Lake pizza restaurant with Lotte Tower views: Pizza Face Off
In short
Pizza Face Off Seokchon Lake Branch is a pizza restaurant with an outdoor terrace at the entrance of the Songni-dan-gil alley, by the east side of Seokchon Lake in Songpa, Seoul. On a Friday evening the writer took a terrace table facing the Lotte Tower night view and ordered the signature Face Off pizza, mushroom cream pasta and Cass draft beer, then followed the owner's tip of piling the pasta on top of a pizza slice. The pasta portion felt a little small, but the freshly baked pizza and cold beer made for a satisfying night out.

There's one thing you have to do in this cool, breezy weather: pizza and beer at an outdoor terrace, haha! The weather was so good that I went to Pizza Face Off, a popular Seokchon Lake outdoor terrace spot, for pizza and beer.
Where is Pizza Face Off Seokchon Lake Branch, and how do you get there?
Pizza Face Off Seokchon Lake Branch sits at the start of the Songni-dan-gil alley near the east side of Seokchon Lake, so it was easy to find. If you're taking the subway, get off at Songpanaru or Jamsil Station and walk toward Seokchon Lake — it's close.
I got off at Jamsil Station and strolled over slowly. There are plenty of cafes and walking paths nearby, so it's a great spot for a date course too. It's conveniently located for eating here and then walking around Seokchon Lake afterward.

What is the outdoor terrace like on a Friday evening?
When I visited on a Friday evening, the place was packed both inside and out. It's a popular spot, so if I'd been any later I might have had to wait — luckily there was an open terrace seat, so I grabbed it.
Enjoying pizza and beer outdoors with a gentle breeze blowing — this was the real deal for a Jamsil outdoor terrace spot.

The indoor atmosphere was also hip and nice. There's a self-service bar inside with pickles and Tabasco sauce you can grab yourself.

Menu and order: Face Off pizza, mushroom cream pasta and draft beer
The menu is clean and simple, with various pizzas, pastas, and side dishes. I ordered the signature Face Off pizza, mushroom cream pasta, and a cold Cass draft beer. You can also add cheese crust or sweet potato mousse.

The beer came out before the pizza and pasta. There are several types of draft beer, so you can order whatever you're in the mood for!

Draft beer after work, with a cool breeze blowing — so refreshing and good! It went down smooth, and the combo with pizza and pasta was great.

Behind the restaurant, Lotte Tower was visible. Outdoor terrace, night view — perfect combo, haha.

Mushroom cream pasta: an oven-baked cheese pasta that stays hot
Before long, the main dishes arrived. The pasta came out first — since it's baked with cheese, the plate was hot and stayed warm for a long time.

There was plenty of cheese, so I mixed it well with the pasta noodles.

With its thick, rich sauce and button mushrooms, the pasta was delicious! I wish the portion had been a bit bigger.

They say it tastes better if you mix it thoroughly, so I got it all mixed and ready to eat.

The signature Face Off pizza, with sweet potato mousse added
The signature Face Off pizza is loaded with cheese and topped with pepperoni. Fresh out of the oven, the crust was crispy and chewy, and the cheese was delicious too.

Pizza, beer, pasta — the ultimate combo. Everything came out fresh, so I enjoyed it all.

I added sweet potato mousse to the crust edge, but honestly, the crust was already so chewy that I think I would've enjoyed it just as much without it.

True to its reputation as a Seokchon Lake outdoor terrace favorite, eating pizza and pasta under the soft lighting completely melted away a week's worth of stress.

The owner's tip: put the pasta on top of the pizza
The owner told me it tastes great to put pasta on top of pizza, so I tried it, and the combo was excellent. I'd recommend the tomato sauce pizza with cream pasta combo, haha. The cream pasta noodles were cooked just right, well-coated in sauce, and the sauce's savory richness paired really well with the pizza.

Feeling the cool outdoor breeze while enjoying hot fresh pizza, rich pasta, and cold beer made for a truly satisfying evening. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a Songni-dan-gil restaurant with an outdoor terrace vibe.

It was so good that we finished everything, haha.

We were enjoying the food so much that it got dark before we knew it. The days are getting shorter now, ㅠㅠ

I recommend Pizza Face Off Seokchon Lake Branch as a top spot for outdoor terrace dining in Jamsil, near Seokchon Lake, and along Songni-dan-gil!

As I paid and headed out, I noticed autographs from famous people on the wall. Guess it's already a well-known spot~~

If you're looking to enjoy great pizza and beer after a walk around Seokchon Lake, I recommend Pizza Face Off Seokchon Lake Branch.
