In short
Buchigom Yeongdeungpo-gu Office Branch is a Korean pub with open-air patio seating near Exit 4 of Yeongdeungpo-gu Office Station in Seoul. The house set brings bossam (boiled pork wraps), gulbaengi somyeon (whelk with cold noodles) and minari pancake together, paired here with a four-bottle traditional liquor sampler and a makgeolli sampler; the minari pancake came out thin and crisp and the bossam was tender with no off smell. Hi, this is Sun ☀ Now that the weather's cooling down, patio season is back!! And you know you've gotta make the most of it while it lasts?? I had plans near Yeongdeungpo-gu Office, so I went looking for a good patio spot around there and ended up at Buchigom Yeongdeungpo-gu Office Branch!!

Buchigom Yeongdeungpo-gu Office Branch / SUN–SAT 16:00 – 01:30
Where is Buchigom Yeongdeungpo-gu Office Branch, and what is the patio like?
Buchigom Yeongdeungpo-gu Office Branch is a short walk from Exit 4 of Yeongdeungpo-gu Office Station. It's open every day from 4 PM to 1:30 AM, so it works easily whether it's your first or second stop of the night.

If you're looking for a decent patio spot near Yeongdeungpo-gu Office, isn't Buchigom just perfect??? It's completely open on all sides haha. So breezy and open!! Once it gets a bit darker and the street gets livelier, I bet the patio vibe gets even better. They've also got a variety of tables — 2-seaters and 4-seaters — so it seems like a good meetup spot near Yeongdeungpo-gu Office too~!!
What's on the menu at Buchigom?

Here's the Buchigom menu, near Yeongdeungpo-gu Office! Being a proper Korean-style bar, they had lots of Korean anju (drinking snacks) — bossam, pancakes, and more~ There's also a review event, so make sure to join in!!

They also have plenty of reasonably priced set menus, hearty enough that you can make a full meal out of your first round!!
Ordered — Set menu / traditional liquor sampler / makgeolli sampler
Since we needed an actual meal, we ordered the set menu that comes with gulbaengi somyeon (whelk noodles), bossam, and minari pancake~
How the Buchigom set menu tasted: minari pancake, bossam and gulbaengi somyeon
Minari pancake: thin and crisp

The minari (water dropwort) pancake came out first!! Wow... Buchigom is genuinely a pancake specialist. It wasn't one of those soggy pancakes loaded with batter — as you can see in the photo, the batter just barely holds the minari together... the minari itself is packed in tight and crispy! I was completely won over the second I took a bite.

The minari aroma wasn't just a faint trace either, it came through strong, and it was crispy while still being full of the vegetable's juices inside!!

Bossam and gulbaengi somyeon
The bossam and gulbaengi somyeon came out next!! It arrived as a generously piled plate.

Bossam at bars usually tends to be a bit hit-or-miss in quality, but Buchigom's bossam had zero funky smell and was soft and tender~!!! Officially the best bossam near Yeongdeungpo-gu Office Station 👍👍

The gulbaengi somyeon really was loaded with whelk~ The seasoning was tangy-sweet too, so mixing it with the noodles worked great — it cut right through the richness that can build up from just eating minari pancake and bossam haha. By the end I was so full I was just picking out the whelk, and even then there was still whelk left...!!!!

They also gave us a generous amount of flying fish roe to eat with the bossam. White kimchi came along too~ Eating those two together with the bossam gave a really nice texture~

Traditional liquor sampler and makgeolli sampler
The 4-kind traditional liquor sampler we had alongside the food!! Aren't the colors so pretty!!??? The owner explained each one to us, which I really appreciated.

It was made up of well-known traditional liquors you've probably heard of before. All four had a touch of sweetness, so it seemed like something women could enjoy without much pressure.

There's a makgeolli sampler too, so we ordered that — apparently the lineup changes from time to time. I'd seen beer or whiskey samplers before, but this was my first makgeolli sampler, and it was so, so good haha. It was fun pairing each one with the different anju.
Is Buchigom worth a visit? Final verdict
If you're looking for a good patio spot near Yeongdeungpo-gu Office, or a Korean-style bar in the area, I'd recommend Buchigom Yeongdeungpo-gu Office Branch~!!
