The day I wanted a daytime yacht tour in Yeouido
After drinking all the time, I suddenly felt like going somewhere pretty during the day for once, getting some keeper photos, and posting them on Instagram. So I went to Sailing Paradise, a Han River yacht tour that I recommend as a thing to do in Seoul and a great date idea.
Sailing Paradise is inside Hangang Paradise at 252 Yeouidong-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, and operates from 10:00 to 22:00. Paid parking is available.

When people think of yachts, they imagine huge prices, but it was not as expensive as I expected. There are several yacht types, so you can choose depending on whether you want a private booking or on your group size, and catering is available too.
How to wait before boarding at Yeouido Hangang Park
Sailing Paradise is located in Yeouido Hangang Park. It is by the emart24 convenience store. Paid parking is available at Yeouido Hangang Park Parking Lot 1.

There is an emart24 there, and since we still had some time before our reservation, my friend and I had Hangang ramyeon (instant noodles by the Han River) and a can of daytime beer each. I was in such, such a good mood from the start!! 😆

When it was time for our reservation, we went to Sailing Paradise. There are benches out front; sit and wait there, and the owner will come over.

Go inside, fill out the boarding form, and wait. They give you a life jacket, and you absolutely have to wear it. The boarding form has your name, date of birth, and phone number, so if a report comes in because you were not wearing your life jacket... you know what I mean, right?
One hour aboard the Huminnho with sparkling wine

The Huminnho catamaran costs ₩30,000, and we rode the Huminnho, which can take up to 12 people. You can enjoy a one-hour Han River yacht-tour date.

Once you board, the owner gives you sparkling wine and snacks. As a certified drinker, I loved that! 🍷

The Huminnho was not huge, and that made it even better. There were four of us, and we could spread out, take pictures, and enjoy a private Han River yacht tour. Of course, we were not couples... but it was seriously great with friends too!! I highly, highly recommend it as a thing to do in Seoul!
Click the video and check out the speed! The boat was faster than I expected, so it was not hot. I worried it would be hot because we boarded at 4 p.m., but not at all!! The breeze was actually cool, the sunlight sparkling on the water was so pretty and romantic, and the atmosphere was insane.

We had the sparkling wine and snacks the owner gave us, and both were seriously delicious!!

Han River keeper photos with wind and natural light
The owner was so cheerful too, telling us all kinds of fun stories, so the hour went by in a flash. By the end I was genuinely sad to get off... One thing I remember him saying: there are wild eels in this Han River..! I love eel, drool... Anyway, you can take your keeper photos while listening to little stories like that. There is even this photo-spot chair, so take as many as you like!

First of all, the natural light was unreal~ The wind made the photos come out naturally well~ Even random snapshots looked like editorial photos 👍👍 I got so many keeper shots. My friend and I kept saying, “It looks like we shot a celebrity editorial, right?” We were so happy.
Satisfied with our keeper photos, we enjoyed the scenery on the yacht tour too. We saw birds, people water-skiing, and even waved hello to people on the bridge. Maybe because the yacht tour was so nice, the whole world looked beautiful haha.
I went to Europe and took a lot of cruises, but I liked the Sailing Paradise yacht even more. I was truly so happy; it felt like, ah, this is healing. My friend got swept up in the mood and suddenly said something sentimental too lololol.
“Birds have it nice.” “Huh? Suddenly? Why?” “They can freely go anywhere they want.” “.....? Out of nowhere? Are you having an emotional explosion because the yacht ride is so nice?”
And then lolololol it was so funny.
From couples to an unusual outing with your parents
The other people riding with us were couples, and I was jealous of their Han River yacht-tour dates—it would be great for celebrating an anniversary and seem like the kind of memory that lasts a long time. It is also a great thing to do in Seoul with friends, or for showing your parents something a little unusual in Seoul.
After actually riding and getting off, I had the unusually filial thought that I wanted to bring my mom and dad here. Mom and Dad, I will put you on a yacht, just wait!! The friend who came with me, in a rather unfilial spirit, said they wanted to bring the girlfriend they would soon have lololol. We were total opposites.

One hour felt way too short, and the moment I saw the marina, I almost told the owner I did not want to get off..ㅠㅠ I loved it so much that I did not want to leave, sob sob..
After the daytime Han River yacht tour
It was an unusual Han River yacht-tour date and a thing to do in Seoul that will stay in my memory for a long time. First of all, it felt luxurious but was affordable, which I loved. It did not feel burdensome at all, making it an easy Seoul activity to try, and once you ride a yacht, you cannot help thinking you want to do it again.
It was healing, of course, but I was just so happy being out on the river and letting the wind carry me. And for a date or a proposal, what more is there to say? I think most people ride to see the night view, but daytime was so beautiful that I was extremely satisfied. Still, I am curious about the night view too, so I plan to come back again.
